Small moment, big impact
There was a seemingly small moment in my life that ended up having a big impact, and it happened when I was in high school. I was a junior at the time, and I was sitting in my math class, feeling incredibly bored. I had never been very interested in math, and the subject matter just didn't seem to click with me. As I sat there, my mind wandering, I noticed that one of my classmates, a girl named Divya doodling in her notebook. She had always been a bit of an artist, and I was always impressed with her drawings. I leaned over to get a closer look, and I saw that she was drawing a character from a video game that we both loved. Without really thinking about it, I blurted out, "That's really cool! Can you show me how to draw like that?" Divya looked up at me, surprised, but then she smiled and said, "Sure!" From that moment on, Divya and I became good friends. We started sitting together in math class, and during our free periods, we would practice drawing together. Divya showed me different techniques and helped me improve my skills, and soon enough, I found myself completely hooked on art. Before I knew it, I was spending hours every day drawing and sketching. I started creating my own characters and stories, and I even started posting my artwork online. People started to take notice, and soon enough, I had a small following of people who were interested in my work. Art became my passion, and it completely changed the course of my life. I had always thought that I would go to college and study something practical, like business or law. But after discovering my love for art, I decided to pursue a degree in animation instead. It wasn't always easy. Pursuing a career in the arts is notoriously difficult, and there were times when I felt like giving up. But every time I felt discouraged, I would think back to that moment in math class when I asked divya to teach me how to draw. If it hadn't been for that seemingly small moment, I might never have discovered my passion for art. Looking back on that time in my life, I realize how important it is to be open to new experiences and to be willing to take risks. If I had never leaned over to ask Divya about her drawing, I might have never discovered my passion for art. It just goes to show that even the smallest moments can have a huge impact on our lives. You never know where one conversation, one decision, or one action might lead you. It's important to be open and receptive to new opportunities, even if they seem small or insignificant at the time. Today, I work as a professional animator, and I'm grateful for that small moment in math class that changed the course of my life. It's a reminder that sometimes, the biggest changes can come from the smallest moments.

The Power of Kindness
When we think about the moments that have shaped our lives, we often focus on the big events: graduations, marriages, births, accidents and deaths. But sometimes it's the small moments that have the biggest impact, that stay with us and shape who we are in profound ways. For me, that small moment was a kind act from my landlord when I moved to Korea to start my own business.

Book Review on Atomic habits
Atomic Habits by James Clear is a highly informative and practical guide to building better habits and breaking bad ones. The book is based on the premise that small, incremental changes in behavior can lead to significant improvements in one's life over time. Clear outlines a framework for developing atomic habits that are aligned with one's goals and values. The Fundamentals The book is divided into four parts, each focusing on a different aspect of habit formation. Part one, "The Fundamentals," provides an overview of the importance of habits and introduces the concept of atomic habits. Clear emphasizes that it is not enough to simply set a goal, one must also develop the habits necessary to achieve it. He argues that habits are the building blocks of achievement, and that small, consistent changes in behavior can lead to remarkable results. The Four Law of Behaviour Part two, "The Four Laws of Behavior Change," is the core of the book. Clear outlines four key principles that are essential to building and maintaining good habits: make it obvious, make it attractive, make it easy, and make it satisfying. He provides numerous examples and practical strategies for implementing each of these principles, and emphasizes the importance of focusing on the process of habit formation rather than the outcome. The advance techniques Part three, "The Advanced Techniques," provides additional strategies for optimizing habit formation. Clear covers topics such as habit stacking, temptation bundling, and the importance of environment. He also provides guidance on how to deal with setbacks and overcome plateaus in habit formation. The common mistakes Part four, "The Common Mistakes," identifies the most common obstacles to habit formation and provides advice on how to overcome them. Clear emphasizes the importance of self-awareness and self-reflection in identifying and addressing these obstacles. He also provides guidance on how to develop a growth mindset and embrace failure as a necessary part of the learning process. One of the strengths of Atomic Habits is its practicality. Clear provides numerous examples and real-life stories to illustrate his points, and each chapter includes actionable steps for readers to implement in their own lives. He emphasizes that the key to successful habit formation is to start small and focus on consistency rather than intensity. He encourages readers to track their progress and celebrate small wins along the way. Another strength of the book is Clear's emphasis on the importance of values in habit formation. He argues that habits are not just about achieving external goals, but about aligning one's behavior with one's values and identity. He encourages readers to reflect on their values and use them as a guide for developing atomic habits that are meaningful and sustainable. One of the potential weaknesses of the book is that some readers may find the framework overly prescriptive. Clear provides a step-by-step approach to habit formation that may not resonate with everyone. Some readers may prefer a more flexible or intuitive approach to behavior change. However, even for those who do not want to follow Clear's framework exactly, there is still a wealth of practical advice and insights to be gained from the book. Overall, Atomic Habits is an excellent guide to building better habits and breaking bad ones. Clear's approach is grounded in research and practical experience, and his writing style is engaging and accessible. The book is suitable for anyone looking to make positive changes in their life, whether they are seeking to improve their health, relationships, or career. By focusing on small, consistent changes in behavior, readers can develop atomic habits that lead to significant improvements in their lives over time.
