Becoming the Person I Was Afraid to Be
Part 1: The Comfortable Cage Scene: A person sitting on the edge of their bed, morning sunlight spilling in, surrounded by a tidy but impersonal room. Their expression is calm but distant, like someone quietly wondering if this is all life has to offer.

Growing up too fast
Childhood — it’s often seen as the happiest and most carefree phase of life. When we grow older, we tend to look back at our childhood with a longing, wishing we could return to those days filled with laughter, fun, and zero responsibilities. We remember crying over the smallest things on our mother’s lap, eating our favorite junk food, fighting with our siblings, dancing, singing, and not caring about how we looked or what others thought of us. Everything felt perfect. But when you grow up, those memories often feel like a dream, a beautiful dream that was once real. People often say that childhood is all about fun and joy. But what if I told you that for many children, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows? What if childhood was actually a time of silent survival, a struggle under the weight of responsibility and pressure from an early age? What if it’s not as carefree as we make it out to be? it hurts when you realize that you didn’t get to fully enjoy your childhood, when the weight of responsibility is thrust upon you far too early. It’s heartbreaking when your parents, who scold you for your own good, fail to understand your struggles. They don’t always get your point of view. They scold you, pressurize you, and sometimes, they just don’t see you. They don’t understand that you're already facing criticism from the world, heartbreak from a lost love, and the crushing weight of expectations.

“Finding Light in the Darkness: How to Stay Motivated During Hard Times”
I will never forget that night. With the lights out to conserve electricity, I sat on the chilly floor of my one-room apartment. Just now, my phone quit working. My remaining balance in my bank account was ₹200. The world continued to move outside, but I felt invisible within. I wondered whether this was it as I gazed at the shattered ceiling. if I had already failed.
