Don't Let Fear Rule Your Life
Honestly I'm not trying to dig deep here but someone out there has to know what I’m talking about and can give their two cents on the matter. However, even though I’m not digging that deep, I want you all to really think about your life and what situations you have been through when you read this. Try to really reflect and count back on certain moments that you can relate back to this article.

Keeping the Faith
It is interesting when you realize that your financial situation is out of control. Debt weighs heavily and constantly, and it feels as if you are drowning. Other times it feels as if you are observing yourself as if from a distance. Not quite believing it is happening.

The Truth About 'Fitspiration'
It's pretty ironic that at 18, I am writing an article about the 'fitspiration' trend we all know and are forced to love. Being so young, you wouldn't expect for me to have something to say about this; my life just started, so how would I know the hardships of becoming fit or eating a perfect diet, or even having an extremely detailed and organized exercise plan? That's the problem: I know. Maybe a bit too much.

The Importance of Starting Over
“Sometimes you just need a fresh start. A new beginning. A clean slate. Just get rid of everything going wrong and make it go right. Sometimes, you just need to delete a number, colour your hair, quit your job. Purge all the negative things and focus on all the positives. Just do it”

Find Your Place
My father, my brother, and I all traveled to Washington state one year. The only time I had ever seen it was when iCarly showed the Seattle space needle on TV. It was a place that I had always wanted to see. I got to help my dad pick the destination, so I suggested Seattle. He thought about it for a while and then he did his research, and my brother and I helped pick out different hikes and trails to do in a few different places in Washington.

The Producer vs. Consumer Mindset
We are all consumers but not all of us are producers. This dichotomy between producing vs. consuming has become especially relevant in the 21st century when levels of consumption are at historic levels. When you think about it, being able to consume in different parts of life has never been easier or faster. You can stream vast amounts of music, download movies within minutes, and have food delivered to you at the click of a button. These days, you don’t even have to leave your house or apartment to consume food, books, music, movies, etc.

What I Learned in Boating School Is...
College is weird. Growing up is even weirder. You’re expected to know what you're going to do for the rest of your life at such a young age. You are encouraged to have a plan for your life. Graduate high school. Go into college knowing what path you want to take. "Study medicine, business, or become a lawyer," they'd usually say. Graduate college and find a high paying job. Work your way up. And if for some reason your life doesn't go according to plan, you are no longer worthy of being looked up to.

Habits for Days: How I Build My Perfect Week
Leading a healthy, happy, and successful life is something we all aspire to have, but sometimes it can seem as if having all three at once is impossible. Unlike most things in our world, a fulfilling life can't be obtained with the click of a button or the swipe of a card, and this is why it can seem difficult or even impossible—but by putting in the time and determination, the results are infinitely rewarding.

The Complement and the Truth
I have a confession to make. Sometimes, when I'm sad, and I mean really really sad, I get on tumblr and I send myself anonymous messages of positivity. I'm not proud of it. If you aren't familiar with Tumblr as a website, or the way Tumblr works, than this may not make a lot of sense. Specifically, this is something that comes about a lot in the Tumblr roleplay community. Yes, I'm that dweeb. Judge me all you want, friends. In the RPC (roleplay community) something that happens a lot, is that people send each other messages of positivity. Usually along the lines of "Hey, you're super sweet and I love writing with you" or "Hey, just a reminder that you're awesome!" You know, nothing majorly important but a little message the brightens someone's day. Maybe it doesn't seem like much, but there's something to be said for logging on after a long day and getting a little self esteem boost that someone out there thinks you're cool or talented or whatever the compliment may be.
