Stressing comes from one source, and that's negative energy. You may think it's from the actual problem, but it's not, it's how you look at the problem.

Life is not easy, we all have bills, families and loved ones to care for. Sometimes when things are going too good, it's easy to think now what? Or when we can barely make it by, something happens that make things much worse. Trust me, I get it. But stressing isn't the answer. Not only can it make stressful situations worse, but it hurts your health as well.

Walk Away: If something really isn't worth your time or energy. Walk away. If your in a argument with your spouse over something really stupid, don't feed into the silliness, walk away. If your at work and somebody is giving you a hard time for something that is out of your control, walk away and grab your manager. If unfortunately, you find out your boyfriend/girlfriend is cheating on you, walk away. As humans we have this unnecessary urge to create more drama and stress ourselves out when all we have to do is walk away. Walking away isn't easy, but it shows your worth and character.

Think Before You React: Sometimes we get so impatient, annoyed, tired it's easy to let stress win. Then we react making the situation worse, or upsetting somebody that doesn't deserve it. Which makes a stressful situation quite a bit more stressful. So the next time your in a long line at the grocery store and you're getting upset because you believe the cashier isn't doing his/her job properly, remember this before you go off on them. You have no idea what was really going on. You're just reacting because something wasn't going your way. So calm down, take that deep breathe and think before you react. I promise you, it'll be okay the ice cream won't melt.

No such thing as perfect: Stop trying to control every.single.thing. Relax! There is no such thing as perfect. If you're that person who needs everything in their life to be a certain way, I hate to break it to you, but not only are you stressing yourself out, but you're stressing out everybody around you. If you ask somebody to do something for you, let them do it. So what if your towels aren't folded perfectly, or if the dishes still have water spots on them. It's life. Live it, stop stressing out trying to control it.

Everything happens for a reason: This can be a hard one to understand and fully believe, but I am a full believer that everything happens for a reason. Basically, we're talking about when one door closes, another is opening. You have a breakup, you'll find someone better. You lose your job, your next one might pay more or you'll become your own boss. Your car won't start, maybe you avoided an accident. Point is, don't stress over things out of your control, it's less stressful to accept the situation and move on than stress over the situation and cloud your mind from moving forward.

Forgive, but don't forget: I have heard my whole life, forgive and forget. It's water under the bridge. Well I don't agree with that. There are somethings in this world people do that are unforgettable. Forgive, but don't forget. Forgive for yourself, not for them. Forgive so each day you don't let them get into your mind and soul. Forgive so you can heal, and move on being happy again. Forgiving someone who did you wrong or someone else you care about takes a lot of strength, being negative is easy.
