It is important that you do not give yourself permission to indulge in self-pity, wallow in negative thoughts, or linger on the past. In the event that this occurs, you should get some fresh air, go for a stroll, visit a movie, or get together with some friends. No matter how depressed you are, distract yourself from your negative emotions by engaging in an activity that brings you pleasure. This will help you focus on other things. If you give these suggestions and pieces of advice a try, you'll put yourself in a better position to overcome unfavorable states of mind.

Right now, you should begin working toward your objective by taking baby measures. Don't sit around waiting for the perfect chance or moment to strike. Any moment is the proper time; otherwise, you're merely putting things off and engaging in procrastination. Repeatedly pounding the idea that choices and plans need to be carried out right now rather than in the future can help cement it in your memory. If you want results, the moment to take action is right now, not at some arbitrary point in the far future.
