Don't let any life situation hold you from shining

There is a lot on my mind. I don't show it. I keep it very hidden in fear of losing my sanity. There comes a time in everybody's lives that they have to grow up and face life head on. I believe mine came way to early, but let's not open that door.

Like everybody out there, whether or not you are willing to admit it, most of the times we don't know what we are doing. We don't know where life will take us, hell, you might die tomorrow. This is not news, we know that we might die tomorrow, or 5 minutes from now, even 5 seconds. We all have some form of knowledge of that, but do we do anything about it? What can we do about it?... Well, we can live every second of the day like it is our last. PLEASE KEEP READING, I KNOW THIS IS VERY CLICHÉ, BUT GIVE ME A CHANCE.

I am not talking about that "Life is amazing, life is sunny all the time, and you should be happy! Happy! Happy!" I get it, those people make me want to punch them in the face too. What I mean by living every second of the day is this, and pay close attention. Life is shitty as fuck. It is a fact. It will grab you out of nowhere and drop you in hell just for the fun of it. Just when you had everything figured out, shit goes south, and shit will ALWAYS go south. It's how you handle your shit that is important.

Nobody is happy a hundred percent of the time, and if you know someone like that, please be a sweetie and ask him what kind of drug he is on and let your homegirl know. I mean, if you are looking to just find happy, you won't. You will be miserable, and probably will kill yourself trying to be happy. Happiness is something you have to work on. It won't come to you. It will not fall on your lap because you were nice this year. What you have to do is look at the shit bucket you have and make the most of it.

Okay, here's what I mean. We all have a "shit bucket," you can also call it your life situation. It is what keeps us from going where we want to go. You can't get out of the rut you are in because you are stuck in this "shit bucket." What do you do? You make the most of it. You take your shit and make it your bitch. It is not easy, but also very easy. Meaning, it varies depending on the shit you have. To make it work, there is one thing you have to do, and it is the most important one. It is to stop pretending like you are not in the "shit bucket." Meaning, stop daydreaming about if I had this, if I had that, or if I was this... STOP!!!

Take a good look in your bucket, look around. See your possibilities and your barriers. Look at what you have right now. It is a load of shit, but there is always a silver lining. Deal with your problems head on. Clear your mind, and work on your shit. Stop looking at what you don't have because you will never get them if you don't work for them. I promise you once you start doing that everything will change.

A lot of people ignore their problems, hoping they will change by themselves. But shit don't clean itself up by itself, you gotta go down there and do the job. Start looking at what you have. Look at your options. Make a list. It doesn't have to be a big one, just write a couple of things down. Live every second of your life. If something makes you mad, takes a step back, and tell yourself, what can I do? What are my options? Whatever it is, you are in control. Every second, you control everything, something that a lot of people don't have the opportunity to do, but you are doing it. You are living.

Life is shitty as fuck, and will always be!! You just gotta soak yourself in all of the shittiness and be shittier than a motherfucker, and you make life your bitch.
