Something inside of me...

Say. Think. Feel.

Something inside of me says to stop moving forward. I can’t quite put my finger on what it is, and it probably has lots to do with the massive amounts of pressure the external world wants me to believe exists, so therefore I do. For isn’t it merely human to output our words, our thoughts, our feelings based on the inputs around us?

When what we speak is of scarcity and lack, we create more of it. When what we think is yearning for and disbelief, we think we have not enough. When we feel we are useless, exhausted, and tired, we feel useless, exhausted, and tired.

If these are truths in our lives on the daily, how then can we talk, think, and feel ourselves enough? When will we look in the mirror and say that our mere existence is incredible? Know that our ability to think is a power. Feel that our feelings are actually just a map to our freedoms.

Some hot words on the market right now are abundance and wealth. Selling it to us. The road to success, turning pennies into riches and loneliness into relationships. Perhaps we are fools falling for money traps? Perhaps we are convinced that nothing we do on our own could ever be enough to set things in motion? That we couldn’t possible be the bearer of our own success without great help from the external world?

And yet, if our default as humans is to turn input into output from the external world, why wouldn’t we want to surround ourselves with words, thoughts, and feelings of bliss? An investment here, a YouTube video there, a mentor, a book.

For when the world gives you lemons, you can find what to do with them based on your beliefs.

With a belief system of I AM ENOUGH underneath, you can decide not only what to do with those lemons, but the words you use, the thoughts to reject, and what feelings truly mean.

We live in a age of endless possibilities of access to information, and so the world truly is your oyster (whatever that means). You can find the right external stimulus for you, for your beliefs. It’s out there and it’s positive. One of those catches is the one for you, the right set of external circumstances to help you shift your words, change your thinking patterns, and become aware of the map your feelings are showing you. The real news is that is starts with you understanding you’re human too, and if you can say it, think it, and feel it ... I AM ENOUGH. Then the world is at your feet and the other stuff, those are just all the bonus treats!

So as you sift through the never ending web of marketing, self-help programs, weight-loss miracles, rapid mind altering states, and abundance promises, take some time to feel gratitude. That you have access to options infinite. You can search, research, track down, read reviews, use money back guarantees and be grateful that you can access A LOT of free content to see who is and isn't putting out your vibes. For those of you who live in a place that has access to a public library, this is another great way to scope out the perfect way to take your next step.

When you feel down about moving forward, remember that we live in a time full of potential. One click and you can be listening to a free uplifting song, one visit to your library or duckduckgo search and you could be reading about how to upgrade your beliefs! Find the people who speak and think and feel the way you would like, and then follow them. The world is at your feet.

Take a chance and change your mindset. We are human beings, not human complainings. Speak thank you’s, think gratitude, feel grateful. I AM ENOUGH. Namaste 🙏

About the Creator

A Human Experience

To filter some of the gruff that comes with being human, I write. To express emotion in tongues that riddles inequitable distribution and forgets the power of love and community, I write with hopes that others might feel connected.
