Resolute

Every day can be a fresh start if one looks at it right. Leaving no stone unturned on the path of life may reveal the beauty of the world around that many take for granted when they ignore the splendors the natural state of the universe has created in the cycles of time. Changing one's life, changing one's perspective, and changing one's attitude come together in a resolution as we find our goals laying out before us the role we wish to fulfill in the better selves we hope, wish, and want to be.

If we care enough to become closer to the higher order self not constrained by the dictates of the ego, we can regain the composure of the echo in eternity against the everlasting entropy which runs continually through all things ever increasing. To stand in the rivers of time one fights back the current of chaos by bringing forth the order of goal oriented effort accomplishing through consciousness what the universe as it stands does not seek.

I find the joy of travails grant me the motivation to strive forward into what is obscure and abstract to become what is real and tangible. My mind's eye focuses it's lens on the world yet to be. Light of my inner self finds it's way to the outer as every day I put forward a better person. This year, I seek to give back to the larger community of humanity through aiding local action in volunteering my time to feed, clothe, and educate all who need, want, and deserve. Every month I have begun to initiate the challenge of a new year with a donation to a non-profit educational website which extends the hand of knowledge to the hungry minds of young, and old alike. The lessons form a critical analysis of difficult topics in a way accessible to the average student of any level of capability. In times past these sorts of things were not thinkiable let alone reachable. Knowledge was guarded by the wealthy, the rulers, the select members of a private circle and to the larger body of each civilization failed to bring in the average human not privileged to be a part of the chosen.

At times like these where turmoil and strife are now felt in the countries who are economically stable and gifted by force or by natural resources we find a new sense of urgency to bring about the world not as it is be as it could be. Taking a proper stance toward the sicknesses that plague our bodies and minds more seriously imbibes greater swathes of the human family to unite in a caring and nurturing state which satisfies the idealized version of ourselves imagined in our hearts and heads to be a world where all can partake of the bounty.

By each of us forming a resolution whether at the start of a new year or any time throughout we bring what would only be hope to a fruition of reality. By volition our dint of effort perfects not just ourselves by what humanity can be and with the philosophy of improvement we can do justice to what so many great thinkers and each one of us can achieve should we decide that now is the time. Our lives may not always be easy to shape as we battle our hardships struggling to survive in what way we can but if we at least make some effort to become who we could be then all profit.
