Positivity is Key to Happiness

Just a thought

Good vibes only!

No matter how perfect someone's life may seem, everyone has doubt in themselves at times. I have learned after having so many ups and downs in my life, that a persons attitude towards themselves and others will dictate how their life will go. You can be successful in a business and have plenty of money and still be a miserable person. You can be broke and starving and be genuinely happy and grateful for what you do have. This is a huge life lesson: Money does not actually buy happiness...that actually comes from you.

Now, I am no professional writer and never will claim to be. I decided to start writing on here about things I see that I just do not understand when it comes to people and how they treat other people. I work with the public daily. I deliver produce to many restaurants 6 days a week. I see A LOT of people on a daily basis and so many of them look and act completely miserable. The sad part is that, in this day and age there is so much to be grateful for if you are still alive. So many people have died from Coronavirus. Every time you turn around, either someone you know or someone's friends or family has died from complications from the virus.

This whole pandemic has opened my eyes in a humongous way. I learned to appreciate my life more and be grateful no matter whether I am starving or very well fed. I lost work for a while and my husband as well. But I was truly grateful to be alive, and that my mother, stepfather, mom n' law did not get the virus due to numerous health issues. But also, my kids and every other person I love. My point being is that there are a lot of people who are not truly grateful for their lives, and its written all over their faces. (Also, in the words that they speak to other people.)

I absolutely love my job and surprising people with my kindness. I have to say, I learned that from my momma. A huge-hearted woman that always speaks to everyone. I make sure to tell everyone I come into contact with, no matter where, "good morning/afternoon" and also to "have a great day". You would not believe how many people look at me surprised like they just could not believe that I spoke to them. This is especially when it comes to a different race. But, that's one thing I was never taught, racism. I speak to everyone. Honestly, I will never understand why people are still racist, but anyways....

The more I try to understand people, the more I see that the ones that are unhappy are just negative. You cannot have a negative outlook on everything in life or you will be miserable. You also cannot make an excuse to avoid every hard thing in life's path. Life is full of unexpected, and crazy turns. No matter what happens, you have to be positive. Positivity and having faith in yourself is the only way to get through hard times.

I wish that people could see that living a positive life and being kind to people is the only way to truly be happy. Nothing can make you happier than seeing a smile on someone's face that is caused from you being kind to them. I know its hard to be positive in this cold world sometimes, but all it takes is one person to make another persons day brighter. Believe it or not, it is true what they say about how kindness spreads. It is the same with positivity. It rubs off on those who you share it with. So, go ahead ya'll, spread you some positivity and live a happy life..
