Past is a golden memory

That make us real

People tend to hate talking about their past a lot. Even the darker moments are something to be proud of because we have become the person we are today. People tend to think that talking about difficult times is a sign as if you are suffering just by speaking about it. Every moment is a step that you have accomplished and that is why I’m writing about it. All memories and moments in your life matter: either the nice or the worst ones are important.

Living it’s like a roller coaster, full of emotions that guide you through each second. I feel very fortunate about having the opportunity to live it all. So many people who suffer from a lack of simple things and the developed society think that feeling is suffering. That way of thinking cultivates the worst of our days because we stop living and start dreaming with life without the crude moments that make the day special and memorable.

I love life because Nature lives and the sky rains upon it. It’s so beautiful to feel the raindrops in our skin, allowing the moment to penetrate our thoughts and soul. The same effect about the sun, our skin awakens with its warmth. Close your eyes with your face turned to the sky and you will see the colors of your eyelids – sometimes you wish that life would be that simple.

There is a lot on my plate most of my days. So many possibilities to feel and to become that twenty for hours doesn’t seem to be enough. And worst, I love to sleep since it gives me a clear brain and inspiration – perhaps I am another person in each dream, making so many assumptions in life.

But, without that philosophic charisma! We are beings that feel – just like animals do, even if you don’t have faith in it – and we have to grow with all our variables and be happy to have another day to live. Not just for life itself. Living can be hard and death is simple, more strategic for some pains. As soon as you die, if you can’t see the stone that you walk in every day, the people that are near you, the sound that surrounds you… Your life is so much more than those feelings and moments in life.

There is a beauty in pain, beautifully we value the great times forgetting the darker ones that guide us to a deeper happy instant. It is better to feel one happy moment after you have bad ones than just being happy all the time. That’s just an illusion that you made your mind to believe in, a pit that you are approaching.

All society sells happiness as if it’s life’s resolution. No. No, it isn’t. Society sells empty moments and no real feelings so you can just cross their path without questioning. You don’t need to have friends if they are just a number. They say if you have less than five friends you aren’t happy enough and sooner or later you fall into depression. Depression, sometimes, show as the awakening of our true self, emptied from the feelings – those real ones that make us the castle our personality is built into.

Do it, don’t feel it, reset it, repeat the last steps. It’s the modern way of dealing with pillar problems. Get numbers, do the stuff they tell you to and be what you are supposed to be. Don’t fall into the pit, never. If you are in the pit, getting those feelings away is the answer. Our friends, family, acquaintances, they are believing in that. But… What does your inner voice tell you? What works for me can be unreal to you – my feelings are mine only. You can drain into the waters of your mind or being kind to yourself and see your true self. Not the one they sell to you. Believe in your strength. You are strong because you are alive after all those moments you have lived. You have the key to your future and present. You have the footsteps; you make the route. Believe in the fall, but don’t stay on the ground. You can always rise and feel it. Be proud of your pains and happiness. You are your hero!

We are beings with thinking and emotions that are constantly changing. But it’s a good thing and it makes us real and more alive than ever. Better to be alive and hurt than be alive as a statue, don’t you think?

And please. Don’t forget. It just my opinion. You are your truth.
