MY EXPRESSION WITH PUZZLE ART
Hi my name is Rachael and growing up I always had a passion about expressive art! One year at a family barbecue towards the ending of the get together my auntie Tali showed me something so inspiring!!!!!!! To anyone else it would be boring, but to me I found something to live off of,by now! She my cousin Jackie had puzzles of expression, and tons of them! Nature, trees, beautiful nature,I was inspired by the landscape in her puzzle art books! So that day I secretly went home to create my own. The year was 2003. The next year I started puzzling. I’d put together I assembled 1,000 piece Simpsons photo mosaics puzzle!!!!!You know the one with the Homer Simpson’s and a donut. Since then I’ve assembled over 22,000 pieces and adding to that. Im inspired to do more art projects! So my current project is Noah’s Ark which is 1,000 pieces! I could differ. Sometimes I pick and choose and I like to change it up trying different puzzles out! Since I work for The Defense Commissary Agency, which is my Dream Job, I’ve been able to donate some of my puzzle art to the commissary FRAMED!!!!!!Ive always wanted to do that. To me puzzles remind me of team work and unity,and when one piece is missing, it looks like a wreak happened. I use puzzles to spend my personal time in isolation in a peaceful and very quiet time I need with myself as I turn on some inspiring quiet music and I try to express each piece with my full great expression! Sometimes it’s hard to choose which one I want to assemble. I kind of get caught up in thinking but the plan I have must continue. Involving fiskars scissors, I like once my puzzles are done being glued or sealed I like to add pictures from magazines or foods or even glitter to the beautiful puzzle. To me, it’s a touch of fun and excitement with exceptional and excellent decor! I’ve been puzzle packing puzzle collage art “ which are now on my walls, since 2004. Soooo,over 17 years! It’s fun…I find passion each time I complete one. That’s 17 years of commitment for expressiveness. If I can quickly share with you my puzzle stash it consists of many,many, many,many more on my (TD) list! I have SIMPSONS photo mosaic eating breakfast at the table as family, Homer in bowling, which is also a photomosaic! The beautiful Marilyn Monroe photomosaic puzzle in black in white. I have foodsie puzzles, collages, Disney, puzzles, all the way from Peter Pan, Beauty and The Beast. I have a good ammount miscellaneous like music, millennials, 1980’s Another food collage!!!!! The 1980’s is based of the decade I was born in. The pictures are very inspiring!!!!!! For example I like the idea of being an autopilot, so I bought a Star Wars spaceship puzzle and applied for airforce job,just to say that I tried and had a passion for it , which (one ) of the many,.. I still do! So all the puzzles I just listed I want to finish!! Definitely on my TD list! So I looked at myself over 17 years of puzzle assembling!!!!! My plan to donate goes a long way. I plan to donate works of my art to other institutions and “wellknown” places to continue my legacy of life and to be remembered that way, inspiring some young man or young woman like the way I’ve been inspired! I plan to donate works of my art to The state hospitals I live in with people of all ages! Some of these places can include The VA , Marybridge , Touchstone life center, & the church I attend inTacoma! All this because I love my expressive art so much! Ive affiliated or incorporated my Dream Job as a Store Associate with my passion for puzzles and puzzling! Since I donated that artwork of puzzles to work I have been trying to stay consistent with it. Until this very day I’ve been puzzling and I hope, never stop! I’ve joined over 5 puzzle groups, ( online) which is amazing I also got invited to be in the worldly puzzle “competition “Championships they have each year, and we talk everything puzzle! Just coming from a place of isolation with puzzles, I get my passionate fix! Coolest thing, there is a movie out about puzzles too! Check it out! It’s called: PUZZLE! Glad I could show you all and express to you my most favorite craft I’m most passionate about!! Nothing can change the way I puzzle…puzzle on!

SHINING EXAMPLE ✈️ When I was young about six or seven years old for Christmas my mother & father bought me a light blue FIRST EVER Barbie airplane! It wasn’t a Barbie house, but I remember folding it in half safely. I remember what I vowed & promised myself that day too! Its a secret I have kept to this day! That one day, I’d be able to fly this plane. Ever since then, as many and many long years had passed, guess where I ended up? I’d gotten my very FIRST job as sales store checker on & in the Mcchord Air Force Base’s Commissary!!! Ive had a love for planes. Yet, coming from an Army family I was able to learn of something new that I found that I’d started to grow an interest in. The community operates different, but it was something new that intrigued me, right off the bat! This is a story that is very Inspirational I started out a backseat learner & now I could learn possibly be able to fly as always by the end. Stay tuned it’ll be a long ride…my names Rachael and this is my personal story About Flight. ✈️ Never have I ever learned something that moves me until I met & tried out flight ✈️

Embracing The Darkness
In the depths of night, when the world is cloaked in shadows and silence reigns, there exists a realm of solitude where personal narratives unfold. It is in these moments, alone in the dark, that we confront our deepest fears, grapple with our innermost desires, and embark on a journey of self-discovery that transcends the boundaries of time and space.Every individual possesses a unique narrative, a tapestry of experiences woven together by the threads of joy and sorrow, triumphs and tribulations. These narratives, like constellations scattered across the night sky, guide us through the labyrinth of life, illuminating our path with the light of self-awareness and introspection.For some, being alone in the dark evokes a sense of trepidation, a fear of the unknown that lurks in the shadows. Yet, it is precisely in this darkness that we find the courage to confront our deepest fears, to face the demons that haunt the recesses of our minds. It is here, in the silence of the night, that we discover the strength within ourselves to emerge victorious, to transcend the limitations of our fears and emerge stronger, more resilient than before.In my own personal narrative, the darkness has been both a source of solace and a crucible of transformation. There have been moments when I have felt lost in the labyrinth of my own thoughts, overwhelmed by the weight of uncertainty and doubt. Yet, it is in these moments of darkness that I have found the clarity to see beyond the illusions of fear and uncertainty, to embrace the light of hope and possibility that resides within me.One such moment occurred during a period of profound loss and grief in my life. As I grappled with the pain of saying goodbye to a loved one, I found myself consumed by darkness, engulfed in a sea of sorrow that threatened to drown me. In those long, lonely nights, I felt the weight of despair pressing down upon me, suffocating me with its relentless intensity.Yet, it was in the midst of that darkness that I discovered a glimmer of light, a flicker of hope that refused to be extinguished. It was the memory of my loved one, their laughter echoing in the chambers of my heart, their spirit guiding me through the darkness like a beacon in the night. In their absence, I found the strength to carry on, to honor their memory by living my life with purpose and passion.In the silence of the night, I began to unravel the tangled threads of my grief, to find meaning amidst the chaos of loss. I sought solace in the beauty of nature, finding solace in the gentle embrace of the moonlight as it bathed the world in its soft, silver glow. I found comfort in the words of poets and philosophers, whose wisdom illuminated the path ahead with its timeless truths. Slowly but surely, I began to emerge from the darkness, like a phoenix rising from the ashes of despair. With each passing day, I felt the heaviness in my heart begin to lift, replaced by a sense of peace and acceptance that I had not known before. I realized that while the darkness had tested my resolve, it had also forged within me a resilience that would carry me through even the darkest of times.Today, as I look back on that journey through the darkness, I am filled with gratitude for the lessons it has taught me. I have learned that even in our darkest moments, there is always a glimmer of light to guide us forward, to remind us that we are never truly alone. I have learned that it is in facing our fears that we find the courage to transcend them, to embrace the fullness of life with open arms.In the tapestry of personal narratives that weave together the fabric of human experience, the darkness is but a thread, a fleeting moment in the grand symphony of life. Yet, it is a thread that holds within it the power to transform, to inspire, to illuminate the darkest corners of our souls. And so, as I journey forth into the unknown, I do so with a heart full of hope and a spirit renewed by the wisdom of the darkness.

First Starlight of Summer
Your whole being is constituted by yearning. You miss the stars but have never seen a fully-realized night sky sparkle to life before your eyes. You write things, funny but short but profound, emulating the archaic cosmos that turns by its own unknowable calculus emulating love in all its celestial glory turning in that same cryptic way, but fully know neither and hardly know both, and it feels disingenuous, so you write about writers. It feels vaguely masturbatory, but it’s funny but short but profound and it impresses the people around you enough, so you run with it forever until you can’t anymore.
