What’s our artist name and where are we from?

We came up with the name “The Underdogs” by branching off our brand Underdog360. We created it as a foundation for the business side of music. The name represents who we really are, especially in the music industry. As we began our journey to making music, we knew we wanted to reach masses, so we strive to have an authentic and relatable run.

We come from New Jersey and New York, currently residing and working out of NJ.

Why do you love music?

Music reaches everyone differently. For us, listening to and creating music is a way life. The love for music we have comes from a long genetic line of singers and performers. All three of us have family members that have musical gifts that were evidently passed down to us. However, we are first generation go getters striving to break into the industry. Our family members didn’t have the resources we have today. So we carry this on our back. The love for music combined with the natural talent is the perfect recipe for success. You can say, our love for music came naturally so we can’t pinpoint an exact time that we fell in love with music. It was always in us. It lives in us, it’s not something we can escape or really had a choice or say in. It came to us not the other way around.

What makes us different as music artists?

What makes us different from other artists is our discipline and patience. Also, the respect we have for the craft. We refuse to release music that isn’t industry standard, no matter how long it takes to achieve that, it’s a factor that isn’t up for negotiation. We stand on it, we stick to it, even when circumstances try and force us out of our place. We refused to release music for years without first building our foundation, brand and team. We give our music and talent the attention and roll outs it deserves. Without foundation, everything crumbles and not every artist understands the importance of this factor.

Where do we see ourselves in 5 years?

In 5 years, we see ourselves collaborating with artists already in the industry and brands alike. We strive to make more music that’s relatable and not only categorized as rap and hiphop. We see ourselves going global. We see our brand being compared with Nike and athletes wearing it during games. Our goals and efforts aren’t near future goals, they’re meant to last for generations to come. In 5 years, our legacy will only just be beginning for the world, although it’s been brewing in us since birth.

What do we want to accomplish in life?

We want to accomplish being able to exemplify making something out of nothing. Yes it’s been done before, but not like this. What’s important to us is changing not only our own families lives, but as many families and people we can reach. The Underdogs are our target. While the world discredits and ignores all the Underdogs with phenomenal talents and gifts, we’ll be the ones highlighting them.

What do we bring to the music world?

We bring a freshness to the music world, a dynamic music experience. As mentioned previously, our genre isn’t only rap and hiphop. We bring a roller coaster ride to the music world, giving people a new experience every time they listen to one of our records. We are not interested in creating “filler records” just to make album count. Each song is meticulously worked on and never rushed. That’s one the most notable things about us.

What do we want to be remembered by?

The Underdogs want to be remembered by our perseverance. We worked through the pandemic, we took risks, we gave it our 100% even when we didn’t have a half of that to give. We pulled it out of our soul and bones and made it happen. Every time our audience listens to us, we want those facts to remind and inspire them that even while being the Underdog, you can move in ways that prove otherwise.
