Within his many talents, DJ JSO has been very successful in scaling his show on the radio station WPPM 106.5 FM. His segment is called The Mic. The Mic XM was created to not only educate listeners and creatives, but to highlight the trials, tribulations and successes of true catalyst to the culture. The former FM show consisted of a 2-hour segment dedicated to playing indie and emerging artist’s music as well as, new artists looking to be heard for the first time. The show can now be heard on Hit Nation Empire Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and accessible 24/7 via TuneIn app and IHeartRadio app via The Mic XM. 

Why do you love music?

I fell INLOVE with music from a very young age but my love for the music business came much later while studying in college. I love music and all its intricacies simply because of the way it makes me feel and the value it has brought to my life. I am now in a position to create the foundation for what most music industry creatives dream about and I couldn't be more blessed. There is so much culture behind the music and each creative gives a new spark to the inferno that is music, who wouldn't fall in love with something like that.

 What makes you different as a music artist?

     I don't see myself as an artists as much a I see myself as a creative entrepreneur, and I that's ultimately what makes me different because I don't solely focus on the art I make sure there's a stream line for my music and others to follow to success.

 Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

     Over the next 5 years my team and I plan to focus on business growth and growth of our entertainment and media network. I am currently programming director for our station " Hit Nation Empire "available on IHeartRadio and TuneIn apps and we plan to incorporate an FM syndication and sponsorships over course of the next five years. Atlantic City's has been in constant recovery since the hurricane sandy disaster and following global pandemic, in assistance with efforts to rebuild the city's entertainment network Hit Nation Empire plans to be a pillar for Atlantic City's rebirth providing innovative media and entertainment unlike anything ever seen before.

What do you want to accomplish in life?

    Personally the goal is to continue produce and break hit records and to gain the platinum selling status or higher. Professionally, I wish to continue to provide value to my industry and the people in it while generating feasible profit margins. Assisting as many creatives as I possibly can is ultimately number 1 priority.

 What my team and I bring to the music industry is innovation and inclusiveness. We've created a streamlined path to growth and success within our industry that did not exist before. We take pride in being early adopters of new creative projects, ideas and systems. Our motto is " Stronger Together, Bigger Than Ever! ". Hit Nation Empire has opened its airways to creatives like DJ Kdev Queen of Trap Show airing Mondays at 6PM DJ Ang Sneaker High airing Thursdays at 7PM and Dj Jso on "The Mic" airing Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday 5pm to 7pm, among others.
