My name is Jus Lavo and I’m from The Bronx/Newburgh, NY.

Why do you love what you do?

The process of making music has always been an incredibly fulfilling and stimulating experience for me. It taps into a creative part of my soul that provides a sense of deep enjoyment that few other activities can match. From the initial stages of crafting a melody or to the final mixing and mastering of the finished product, each step in the process brings its own unique challenges and rewards that provide a sense of pleasure and accomplishment that’s difficult to replicate for me in other aspects of life.

What makes you different?

I would say my combination of creativity and authenticity is what stands out.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

My ultimate goal is to cultivate a dedicated fan base that will not only appreciate and enjoy my music, but will also support me in my endeavors to establish a successful and sustainable career in the industry. This involves not only creating and releasing high-quality and original music that resonates with listeners, but also building strong relationships with fans through social media, live performances, and other forms of engagement that help to foster a sense of community and belonging around my music. Additionally, I hope to earn recognition and respect from industry peers, critics, and fans alike, through a combination of hard work, talent, and innovation, and to establish a reputation as a creative and influential force in the music world. Lastly, I recognize that financial stability is a key factor in achieving long-term success in the industry, and I am committed to exploring a range of revenue streams, from album sales and touring to merchandise and brand partnerships, that will help to ensure my ongoing viability as a professional musician.

As a musician, I want to bring a unique blend of creativity, talent, and passion to the music industry. I would mainly say my music is characterized by its originality and authenticity, reflecting my own experiences, emotions, and perspectives, and resonating with audiences on a personal level. With my work ethic and dedication, I've honed my craft to a high level, while having fun that keeps the music fresh and exciting. I want to use my platform as an artist to inspire others through my lyrics and performances. I feel like my willingness to push boundaries and explore new sounds and styles can make myself a true innovator in the industry, and position me as a leader among my peers. With my voice and vision, I just want to make a lasting impact on the music world, and to inspire the next generation of artists to follow their own creative paths.
