In as much as we all have the internet, it’s probably fair to say you’ve attempted some online “money-making” programs. As for me, I didn’t just attempt “some” online money-making programs instead, I tried them all except obviously for selling my feet pictures on OnlyFans. Being honest with you, making money online is just an intricate blend of good and bad. I am not going to flood your brain with every single program I’ve tried but I’m just going to put a focal point on a few most common methods/programs of making money online and weighing if they waste your time or not.

1. Forex trading as an online money-making method.

Forex trading can make you rich in as much as it can make you broke as hell. I really do not know why I ever attempted forex trading, because you need to go through a lot of phases for you to get started. Here is what you must go through :

  • A f*ckin steep learning curve that keeps you going in circles.
  • Endless losses especially if you have a capital that is below US$1000.
  • Learning how to implement new personality traits which are patience and risk-taking(bravery).
  • Shifting through market prediction softwares commonly known as Expert Advisors and most of them are costly.
  • Being scammed by some random guys on Telegram or Facebook telling you to invest with them or buy their signals.
  • Blowing up your first account. This is more like breaking your forex trading virginity(Yeh, everyone has to go through this).

My first Account Blew up in 3 Days after I had spent 3 months learning forex trading:

In my experience, going through all that is just the beginning of the ending for your forex trading journey. After a few weeks or months, you’ll realize that you are about to kill yourself for wasting your f*ckin data, brainpower, time, and money.

2. Free cryptocurrency or money through surveys or online tasks.

Everyone loves a freebie and this great desire to earn money for free has lured most of us specifically me into digital enslavement. I spent 3 years completing tasks online hoping to earn some free easy earned cash but with no luck. These online tasks can be surveys, quizzes, captcha completions, lottery spins, and advert viewing. Theoretically or based on most blog articles I have seen on the internet, you can earn free money or cryptocurrency through the so-called ‘Crypto Faucet’ sites.

A crypto faucet is usually a website that distributes small amounts of cryptocurrencies as a reward for completing easy tasks. Did I just say “easy tasks”? Oh yeah, the tasks are easy until you realize that it would be better if you started working on them in the ‘Dinosaur era’ for you to have earned a grand today. My point is, just like small drops of water dripping from a faucet you’ll be rewarded a smidgen compared to what you give into the faucet system. I remember spending hours completing these tasks which were 100% wastage of my time, data, and electricity.

What is funnier is that most of these sites will have a technical error when you are about to complete a certain task. From a developer’s perspective, it is 100% possible to create a function that triggers a technical error when someone is about to complete a task. So obviously these crypto faucet sites use you then drop you when you are about to claim your reward. This proves what a waste of time it is to try and make money online through crypto faucets.

However, making money online sometimes does not waste your time. You can still earn a couple of dollars but this solely depends on your skills. Mentioned below are two ways I use/d to earn real withdrawable money online.

1. Side gigs on Fivver, Peopleperhour, and Freelancer.

Everyone is talented in something and that talent can be in tech or writing. I believe if you are able to modify your talent into a super skill that can be offered as a service then you’ll probably make something out of it online. Through service provision, your chances of making money online are high when you take advantage of side gig or freelancer marketplaces like Fivver or Peopleperhour. Getting hired is not guaranteed though because these platforms are international so it means you’ll be competing with a lot of people worldwide.

I have tried the web development category on all three (freelancer, fivver & PeoplePerHour) and it took me 2 weeks to get some action. You can also start a YouTube channel that showcases your skillset and in the long run, maybe you might end up earning out of it in three ways :

  • Google Ads.
  • Affiliate Marketing.
  • Viewers hiring you.

This is currently not wasting my time it surely won’t waste yours too.

2. Affiliate Marketing for Digital services.

I specified “Digital services” because affiliate marketing is hard if you go for physical products since they require a lot of logistics. Digital services or products for example website hosting services or WordPress optimization plugins these are not limited to any country and do not require freight services for them to be delivered. You can successfully run your Affiliate marketing campaigns without straining yourself by making use of social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram.

Also, set up a blog or vlog where you publish marketing material that is provided to you by your partnered companies. I recently began my Affiliate marketing journey and currently focus on two platforms: Impact Redius and ShareASale.

Impact Redius

A few clicks gave me 22 bucks already.
