INTERFAITH ALLIANCE CHURCH CHARTER/CONSTITUTION

In order to comply with district procedure, please complete this Charter/Constitution. All authorized

churches must have a charter/constitution on file in the commission's office. A new charter/constitution must be filed

once. Without the proper church paperwork and approval, the Financial Clerk cannot process checks or

payment of any kind.

Article I: Name and Purpose

Section 1. The name of this church shall be _Bourgnew's Glad Tidings, Interfaith Alliance of Bourgnew, Jesus is the Promise Foundation, or Believers United University________________________________________________

To help and advocate for the Interfaith Alliance of

Bourgnew in its mission to spread love, hope, and

faith.

The purpose of Interfaith Alliance of Bourgnew "Our mission to bring people closer to Jesus:" Interfaith Alliance desire to bring everyone who believes into the House through Jesus. We want to testify of the glory. We want to lift up the honor and worthiness of the Cross. It is our hope to change the outlook of others with the joyful word of the gospel. We strive to serve and lead by example. To break barriers by following the example of Jesus. We hope to lead the world to change and deliverance. We seek to restore Judeo-Christian relations and encourage humanity by uniting with love and fighting division. For we know Jesus is the true foundation and that he taught love, devotion, and faith to the Father. He taught hope in his word shall not cease. We welcome all to believe. We welcome all to come to know him for we know that the Father seek that all should know him and come to know him. And he is faithful to perform his work and word even until the very end.________________________________________

Article II: Membership

Article V: Duties

Section 1. The church president will have the following duties:

• To preside over meetings of the church.

• To call special meetings of the church.

• To plan and prepare an agenda for the church meetings.

Section 2. The church vice-president will have the following duties:

• To serve as the church president if the president becomes unable to fulfill his/her duties

either temporarily or permanently.

• To support the church president.

Section 3. The church treasurer will have the following duties:

• To maintain complete and accurate record of all church receipts and disbursements.

• To oversee church fundraising efforts.

• To supervise the preparation of the church budget.

• To maintain accurate minutes of each church meeting.

• To carry out all correspondence for the church.

Article VI: Elections

Section 1. The church will hold the election of officers once a year. The voting will take place by

secret ballot.

Article VII: Amendment

Section 1. A two-thirds majority vote of the members in attendance is required to amend this church

constitution.
