Story 1: Opinion Changes by Situation and Time

A short story when the situation forces you to change your opinion time by time.

Often mindset changes according to situations! Let me tell you one instance! After reading this story, for every moment, for everything, your point of view will change.

Think of a situation where you are sweating hard and very thirsty, but You can't find water anywhere.

You are standing in the shade of a tree and got exhausted totally!

From there, Somebody opens the first-floor window of a house and you and the person's eyes meet with your eyes.

After seeing your condition, the person is asking you to drink water by hand sign.

How do you feel about that person now?

This is your first opinion

The person closes the window by gesturing to come down and 15 minutes passed, but the bottom door still doesn't open yet!

Now, what is your opinion of that person?

This is your second opinion!

After a while, the door opens and the man says: 'I'm sorry for the delay, but seeing your condition, I thought it would be appropriate to give me lemon juice instead of water! That's why it took a little longer.'

Now, what would be your opinion of that person?

Remember, you haven't got any water or lemon juice yet, and keep your third opinion in mind.

Now as soon as you get the lemon juice in your hand and you put it on your tongue, you will realize that there was no sugar in it at all!

How do you feel about that person now?

Seeing your sour face, the person slowly pulls out a sugar pouch and says, “Add as much as you like. I didn't know how much sugar you were eating."

Now, what would your opinion be about the same person?

Even in such a general ambiguity, if our opinion is so hollow and it keeps changing, should we consider ourselves worthy of giving an opinion about anyone or not?

In fact, the world has come to understand that "if the opposite person behaves in a way that meets your expectations, it is good, otherwise it is bad!"

This is an interesting point, think for yourself!

The main characters are A Bird, A Cow, A Cat.

A little bird 🦜 was flying south for the winter. It was so cold ❄.

The Bird was frozen and fell to the ground in a large field of grass.

While it was laying there, a cow 🐄 came by to that bird and dropped some dung on it.

As the frozen bird lay there in the pile of cow dung, it began to realize how warm it was. The dung actually thawing him off. That Bird was getting warm.

The bird lay there all warm and happy and soon began to sing for joy.

A passing cat 😼 heard the birds singing and came to investigate.

By Following the sound, the cat finally discovered the bird under the pile of Cow dung, and Promptly dug the bird and ate him.

The moral of the story: Celebration before Victory is harmful

  • Not everyone who drops shit on you is your enemy.
  • Not everyone who gets you out of shit is your friend.
  • When you are in deep shit, keep your mouth shut!

Story 3: Value of Life

A man went to God and asked, “What’s the value of life?”

God gave him one stone and said, “Find out the value of this stone, but don’t sell it.”

The man took the stone to an Orange Seller and asked him what it’s cost would be.

The Orange Seller saw the shiny stone and said, “You can take 12 oranges and give me the stone.”

The man apologized and said that God has asked him not to sell it.

He went ahead and found a vegetable seller. “What could be the value of this stone?” he asked the vegetable seller. The seller saw the shiny stone and said, “Take one sack of potatoes and give me the stone.”

The man again apologized and said he can’t sell it.

Further ahead, he went into a jewelry shop and asked the value of the stone.

The jeweler saw the stone under a lens and said, “I’ll give you 50 Lakhs for this stone.” When the man shook his head, the jeweler said, “Alright, alright, take 2 crores, but give me the stone.”

The man explained that he can’t sell the stone. Further ahead, the man saw a precious stone’s shop and asked the seller the value of this stone.

When the precious stone’s seller saw the big ruby, he lay down a red cloth and put the ruby on it. Then he walked in circles around the ruby and bent down and touched his head in front of the ruby.

“From where did you bring this priceless ruby from?” he asked. “Even if I sell the whole world and my life, I won’t be able to purchase this priceless stone.

Stunned and confused, the man returned to God and told him what had happened. “Now tell me what is the value of life, God?

God said, “The answers you got from the Orange Seller, the Vegetable Seller, the Jeweler & the Precious Stone’s Seller explain the value of our life… You may be a precious stone, even priceless, but people may value you based on their level of information, their belief in you, their motive behind entertaining you, their ambition, and their risk-taking ability. But don’t fear, you will surely find someone who will discern your true value.”

In the eyes of God, you are very very precious. Respect yourself. You are Unique. No one can Replace you!

Story 4: The story of an Eagle

The Eagle has the longest life-span of its species. It can live up to 70 years.

But to reach this age, the eagle must make a very difficult decision!

In its 40th year, the eagle’s long and flexible Talons can no longer grab prey that serves as food. Its long and sharp beak becomes bent.

Its old-aged and heavy wings, due to their thick feathers, stick to its chest and make it difficult to fly. Then, the eagle is left with only two options:

DIE or go through a painful process of CHANGE!

This process lasts for 150 days (5 months) the process requires the eagle to fly to a mountain top and sit on its nest. There the eagle knocks its beak against a rock until it plucks it out. Then the eagle will wait for the new beak to grow back after which it will pluck out its talons. When its talons grow back, the eagle starts plucking its old-aged feathers. And after this, the eagle takes its famous flight of rebirth and LIVES for 30 more years!!

Why is Change needed???

In order to survive and live. We too have to start the change process.

We sometimes need to get rid of the unpleasant old memories, negative habits, and our fixed mindset. Only Freed from the past burdens can we take advantage of the present.

If an eagle can make a life-saving and life-changing decision at the age of 40…why can’t we?

In order to take on a New Journey ahead, let go of your negative old limiting beliefs. Open up your mind and let yourself fly high like an eagle!

When it rains, all birds occupy shelter. But the EAGLE avoids the rain by flying above the clouds….problem is common to all but the attitude to solve it makes the difference!

Don’t be afraid of change…accept it gracefully!
