How To Thrive In The Age Of AI;

The way we work, the way we think, and the way we act has changed a lot, did you notice that?

Stop for a minute and just think. What do we usually do when we want to know something? We Google, right. But that’s not the case anymore, if you want to know something we ask ChatGPT.

When a coder faces a problem in his code, he/she usually goes to Stack-Overflow but that’s not the case anymore, because again we got ChatGPT.

To be honest, we don’t even have to write the code, if you give the right set of prompts to ChatGPT, it will give us the code, just take a pass and think how amazing is that?

As we are evolving day after day we are not able to see how easy things have become, within a few years from now most jobs will be replaced by AI (It’s an undeniable truth).

Just think this for a moment, say you are running a software company that helps create websites for clients, and you have 100 employees working for you.

Let’s say those 100 employees can make 1000 websites for 1000 clients in a month and you pay each of them $350 per month. Then one day while scrolling through X(former Twitter) you find an AI that can design websites if you just have the ability to give it perfect prompts also, the AI software company only charges $50 per month and you can create as many website designs as you want.

Now, what will you do? (Layoff🙋‍♂, Obviously)️

Now, you can fire 90 people from your company and just keep the best 10 train them, and offer them prompt engineering courses or you can also hire new people who are good at giving perfect prompts to generate great websites.

After doing this your income would have increased by a 9999% or even more. Because as there are only 10 employees you don’t need a big office, electricity will be less, food costs will be less, almost everything will be less and the rest of the money is pure profit for you.

Just a single AI software can destroy millions of people’s lives.

It’s okay we have to accept it, we don’t have a choice.

Let’s think about what can we do.

In my opinion, 4 industries will always survive they are,

• Sports.
• Politics.
• Business (Mostly AI-related).
• Entertainment.

The above 4 industries will just keep improving alongside AI, there is no stopping the above 4 industries. In fact, the development of AI will help these industries grow rapidly.

The people who will be affected by AI are those who are working for a company as “employees”.

If you are a really talented, passionate, and hard-working employee you will have a chance but if you are just working for the sake of making your ends meet, sorry to say this, but you are at risk.

Just think about this “What if you lose your job TODAY?” Do you have a backup? What will you do? Will you be able to feed your family? Will you be able to pay your rent? Will you be able to buy things for your loved ones?

Just think. Set and think. Keep thinking. don’t read. THINK.

I am not writing this just for you, I am writing this for me as well, I ask these questions to myself as well. We don’t have a choice other than to become someone people can’t ignore.

We need to become as valuable as possible. I am going to take this article into a different realm now.

You have to find something other than your “job” to make money, that is the only way to survive this AI revolution.

If you are currently employed then good, but in your spare time do something, find a side hustle. Always keep in mind, that your job is NOT PERMANENT.

You may lose it anytime, don’t be completely dependent on it.

The BEST WAY to escape this plague is to become a CONTENT CREATOR.

If you provide real value to people, people will support you.

To provide value, you need to become valuable.

To become valuable, you need to LEARN.

Pick a niche, become the best in your niche, and then teach people who are interested in your niche how to become the best. It’s as simple as that.

You can teach people by writing articles or making videos.

You don’t have time to watch TV or scroll Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts. Think about your family, you don’t have a second source of income other than your job, and if you lose it…I don’t know what to say.

I came to write an article about how AI is shaping Human lives. But ended up writing an article about how to survive this AI Revolution.
