Getting Through Hardships
The key to peace & happiness đ§đžââď¸
Life can be challenging, thereâs no doubt about that. If youâre going through a tough time right now, know that youâre not a lone because the one thing that we as humans have in common is experiencing the ups and downs of life. Some of us battle our hardships in private, while others go through things that every one seems to know or find out about. But no matter how difficult it may be, I want you to know that everything, including bad times eventually comes to an end. Every one has their own story and thatâs part of what makes us unique as individuals. But hereâs a secret: YOU decide how your story ends. If life seems to be overwhelming you, this post is for you. Because I want you to succeed and I know that you have the potential to do so. Here are five things to remember while going through life:
1. Things donât happen to you, They happen for you.
Having the mindset that âbad thingsâ keep happening to you, only makes âbad thingsâ keep happening to you. Instead, have confidence that every thing in life happens so that you can graduate to the next phase of your life. Think of life as if youâre in school. The semester may seem really tough and you may have a lot of times when you feel like giving up, but in the end, you realize that all of the work that you put in is for the purpose of bringing you to a greater reward. Think of life in the same exact manner. Know that everything happens for the purpose of preparing you for your next phase of life.
2. Learn how to let go of things not meant for you.
Sometimes life seems hard because youâre trying to hold on to things not meant for you. No matter how bad you may think that you want something, if itâs not for you, it wonât happen no matter how hard you try to make it happen. This applies to anything, from relationships, to work, to friendships, and ect. Learn to let go of things not meant for you so that the things that are meant for you, can be for you. If you donât, you are going to constantly be battling and resisting the changes that are meant to help you; or in other words âblocking your blessingsâ. Sometimes it may even be the things that are meant for you, but just not at the moment. If you love something, let it go and if it comes back, thatâs how youâll know that it was yours all along. Let go, let flow, and trust in the power of divine timing.
3. When you have a moment to yourself, speak out exactly what you desire from your life.
If you believe in a God or a Diety, this in other words means prayer. If you donât believe in God, simply speak it out into the universe. After you do this, trust that every thing that happens there after is for the sole purpose of bringing you closer to your goal. Have faith in God.. Have faith in the Universe.. Have faith in your self and in your life. Be consistent in doing this and you will notice a gradual shift in your mindset and in the events that begin to occur in your life.
4. Eliminate toxic behavior.
You canât expect your life to get better if youâre still doing things that hinder your growth. Sometimes true happiness and gradual progress requires sacrifice. Sometimes this means sacrificing going to the club with friends so that you can stay home and plan for your future. Sometimes this means quitting drinking so that you can be more productive. Sometimes this means less smoking so that you can cleanse yourself of anxiety and work towards better mental health and ect. Everyoneâs weaknesses are different, but the common ground is that there is always a way for a weakness to become stronger. Only you know what is hindering your growth in life and if you donât know, then itâs time to pull out a notebook and write down some of things that you observe about your life. Revaluate some of the things that you can do to become the best version of yourself. Prioritize the things that are important to you.
5. Understand that success doesnât come overnight.
Be prepared to work for the results that you want and know that it might take some time before youâre exactly where you want to be. Understand that everything that you go through may be preparing you for what it is that you want. There is a blessing in every lesson so strive to learn from everything along the way to ease the pain of what youâre going through and to also benefit the most from your experiences. Every second in the day is a chance to revaluate your life and to start over. Life may not always be easy, but when youâre consistent in doing and being your best, the reward will almost always be worth it. So donât give up, Iâm rooting for you.
