1.”God is good”

The narrative follows a mother interrogating her child about his actions, which prompts insights into life's truths. During their exchange, the mother questions the child about being aware of God witnessing him taking cookies from the kitchen. The child affirms this and admits to God watching him the whole time. When asked about God's response, the child discloses that God noted no one else being around, hinting that the child could offer some cookies to Him. It is evident that God found joy in helping the child.

2 . “The tone deaf rich man”

This story is about a wealthy man who passionately pursued his dreams, maybe even to an excessive degree. It starts with the rich man being determined to fulfill his lifelong goal of leading an orchestra. He recruited a drummer, three saxophonists, and 24 violinists for his group. At the first rehearsal, his conducting was so poor that the drummer suggested the other musicians leave him. However, one saxophonist disagreed, mentioning the man's generous payment and potential musical talent. During the next rehearsal, the conductor had trouble keeping time, which led the frustrated drummer to start a noisy drum solo. When the conductor asked for quiet and questioned the disturbance, all the musicians avoided looking at him, instead staring up at the sky.

3. “Two hunters and a plane”

Two hunters had rented an airplane to get to the distant forest zone after a couple of weeks the pilot returned to take them back after looking at their hunting trophies he said the plane will be able to carry more than one buffalo you will have to leave one of them but last year the pilot agreed to take on board two buffaloes the same size as these the hunters protested the pilot thought about it and said okay if it worked last year it should work the same this time too the plane tried to take off with the two passengers and the two buffaloes on board but it was not able to reach the required height the plane crashed into the nearest hill after getting out the plane wreck the hunters looked around one of them said to the other where do you think we are his pal examined the surroundings and answered i think we are two miles south from the plane that we crashed last time.

4. “The gambling couple”

Although we do not endorse gambling, this amusing anecdote illustrates a clever way to hide a loss. A married couple visiting friends on the other side of the country found themselves at the racetrack. While entranced by the horses, the couple spent the evening participating in sweepstakes with only two dollars left. The following day, the husband decided to attend the races alone. Placing two dollars on an outsider in the first race, he won. He continued to bet his winnings and by the end of the day, he had accumulated $57,000. On his way home, he encountered a gambling house. Despite initially being successful, he lost all his money after following a misguided inner voice that advised him to bet on number 13 in roulette, which turned out to be number 14. When his wife asked how he fared, he simply replied, "I've lost two dollars."

5. “The different newspaper”

The tale begins with a customer entering my clothing store and requesting to view the pants featured in that day's newspaper advertisement. I informed her that we did not have any ads in the paper that day. Despite my explanation, she was adamant that I was mistaken. To resolve the situation, I fetched a copy of the paper, and together we examined it. To our surprise, we stumbled upon an advertisement for pants from a different local store. Frustrated, the customer glared at me and declared, "In my newspaper, the ad was for this store."

6 “Doppelganger”

Mick, the bartender at a Dublin bar, is serving while Patrick sits at the counter drinking. Suddenly, Patrick remarks to Mick about a guy across the bar resembling him. Mick agrees, playing along. Patrick approaches his look-alike and mentions the striking resemblance. The guy acknowledges it and reveals he is from Wrath Mind. Patrick inquires about his street, Mayo Abbey Street, to which the guy confirms. Surprised, Patrick reveals he lives at number 47 on the same street. Further astonishment follows as they discover they have the same parents, Thomas and Bernadette. As they discuss this, Jim, Mick's colleague, joins them and asks about the night's events, to which Mick mentions the O'Donnell twins being drunk again.
