The power of faith

The movie "Kang Rinpoche" describes the beliefs of people in Tibetan areas - they always want to go on a pilgrimage once in their life, measure the land with their bodies, and "prostrate" in front of the Potala Palace.

And for this "belief", some of them dragged their families with them, some still insisted on starting their journey when they were pregnant, and some of them still set out on the road despite the obstacles ahead, despite the obstacles ahead.

What is Faith? After watching this movie, I probably understand, it can be a place, it can be a belief, but it must be something you firmly believe in. Only when this "confidence" supports you can you accomplish some impossible things.

In the literary masterpiece "Jane Eyre", Helen Burns suffers from lung disease, coughs constantly, and feels very uncomfortable, but a teenage girl is not afraid of the unknown "death" and waits very calmly it's coming.

Because she firmly believed that God would put her in place.

Because of this belief, she has become extraordinarily strong at a young age, and because she has faith in her heart, she can "see things" that others don't like to see, and she is very calm.

Santiago in "The Old Man and the Sea", an old man in his 80s, was able to defeat a fish bigger than a boat by himself, with a few fishing lines and a harpoon, and almost three days and three nights without it. Close your eyes.

This kind of challenge to the limits of the body, if there is no support for your own "belief", how can you persist?

Maybe give up long ago. Just imagine, when the old man did not catch fish for more than 80 consecutive days, the old man still went out to the sea to catch fish every day in high spirits. If it was us, where would this calmness and courage come from?

It is nothing more than knowing that he is a fisherman and that his mission is to fish. It is nothing more than a firm belief that my luck will definitely improve, that one day I will catch a fish, and I will catch a big fish...

Because you have faith in your heart, you will not be afraid of temporary disappointment and failure, nor will you give up because of temporary disappointment and failure. You will always have the courage to start again and the determination to overcome difficulties. This is an important lesson the book The Old Man and the Sea taught me.

I'm a writer. Faced with the ups and downs of data, I always fall into some self-doubt and self-denial. Sometimes when I write, negative emotions come up. I even go out for interviews, thinking that it is more cost-effective to go back to work. Go to work.

Because I'm really not sure if writing can really be my life's career.

Later, when I saw a friend around me succeeded in starting a business, the competition in catering was fierce and it was not easy to do, but he persevered all the way, diligent and hard-working, and now he has opened more than a dozen chain stores, bought houses and cars, and walked away. The peak of life.

He has also been confused and frustrated, and doubted the future, but no matter when, he never thought of giving up. When chatting several times, he told me, believe me, I can definitely do it.

Because of this "belief", because of this "thing" that he firmly believes he can do well, no matter how difficult he encounters, he will defeat them one by one, until he does better and more successful.

The inner belief, the power of belief, is often beyond our expectations and is very powerful.

The comedian Chaplin once said: "Faith is the forerunner of all our thoughts." The so-called faith is not the change of the day or the unpredictable, but the unshakable belief until life stops.

Charles Strickland, the protagonist of the book "The Moon and Sixpence" by author Somerset Somerset Maugham, was based on the post-impressionist painter Paul Gauguin, who was extremely down and out.

Even with a stable career and a happy family, Tesrickland was "enough" with this kind of life. On a dark and windy night, he picked up a suitcase and left the country alone, and never had contact with his family for the rest of his life.

The first half of his life was given to his family, but the second half of his life was given to painting. Even if life is extremely desolate and deserted, he has no regrets. Every day, he paints frantically with the brush in his hand, entering an extreme state.

It's hard to imagine how he would have survived those difficult years and lived on forever if it wasn't for the support of his faith.

Kafka, the pioneer of Western realist literature, said:

"To live, one must have faith. What is faith? Faith in the rational inner connection of all things and all moments, that life as a whole will go on forever, that which is nearest and what is farthest."

In life, it is terrifying to be ignorant and carefree without faith, and a life with faith and a life without faith may lead to completely different states.

Just ask about the hard work, not the harvest, firmly believe that your efforts will be rewarded, believe that you are doing the right and good things, believe that you can live your own value, and keep going in these directions, everyone will live out The best gesture.

Kafka also said in "Kafka Essays": "There are obstacles, and there will always be, but life is made up of dealing with these obstacles."

Life is full of difficulties, and everyone has to climb up level by level. Life seems to have many choices, but after each choice, there will be many difficult twists and turns.

The important thing is that, no matter the circumstances, as long as we have our beliefs in our hearts, then we will never be defeated by reality. As long as we have our own beliefs in our hearts, no matter how the world changes, I think we can all stick to our own direction and be a useful and calm person in life.
