People often try hard to get what they want and avoid what they don’t want. The desire for certain things that are related to pleasure is very common.

Mostly the pleasure stuff which is considered contains: A good job, more fun experiences, laughter, going to nice restaurants, buying clothes or gadgets, getting a new car, and all those attractive luxurious materialistic things that all people mostly desire to have. No one can deny those things are pretty fun.

But at the same time, they try hard to avoid bad things in life. Bad things which are mostly happened in human lives are:

Sickness, joblessness, sadness, pain, suffering, hard work, boredom. If it were up to us, our whole life would be one big party. It depends on us, either we want a slavery life or enjoy the life. It is foolishness that expects too much from others because too much expectation with foolishness leads to disappointment. Most people are trying to be foolish in their way of expectation, and they think the children, spouse, or friends are here to live forever. Well, it is beyond our power to happen all this. It is equally naïve to expect everyone will be honest. It is not under the control.

But sporadically, some things

of us are under the control of others, and we are at the mercy of whoever has control over things we desire or detest. Although to avoid disappointment and be free, it is necessary that try not to desire or avoid things that other people control.

However, when people go through a process like that, where there are numerous things they don’t control, they can get disappointed when they don’t get what they want. This whole process of controlling and remaining under the power of others affects human personalities. When people are for sake of people, they are constantly bounding their selves towards people just because of their desires. So, this kind of restriction also causes disappointment. And at every step, things can go wrong. To avoid disappointment, it should be practiced that keep focusing on what you control yourself. Don't choose the slavery life just because of desires. Try to adopt those actions and beliefs that help you to be an owner of your life instead of slaves of others. That helped you to stay positive and have great energy to fulfill your desires on your own without holding others' hands.

Learn not to desire things that are under others' control. It will help to stay calm and rational throughout the process, and you will be able to get the best. It will not make you suffer from disappointment. So hold the hand of the best way to tackle your desires without hurting yourself with the taste of disappointment, and focus on what you control.

Don't rely on the thought that it’s foolish to expect we have the power to make certain things happen. That doesn’t mean we have to disconnect ourselves from our emotions. We will still be sad when a loved one passes away, even when we realize no one is immortal. Keep on the way to remind yourself of the outcomes as you’re going through life.

It is worth improving your disappointment criteria instead of scaring the side effects of disappointment. So relax and calm down yourself instead to get angry. Soon you will get the desired results and prevent yourself from the fear disappointment. Thinking about the long-term impact of our actions helps you to overcome this fear. If you do things that cause temporary happiness you will later regret, only inner turmoil will create in yourself. If you do things that are in line with encouraging beliefs, you avoid regret. As a result, you have inner peace.
