no one else is

Maybe the world lock down can have its positive as well, maybe the all new you can start now. You have promised yourself to become a new and improved version, why not now. Learn new things, listen to new things and watch new things. Find out your hidden talents while you have the time. Don't like someone or something because everyone else seems too, find out yourself.

Ladies may need a re think from the top down, especially if its true that 90% of the worlds make up starts in China . Not sure where hair dye is made so maybe it will be literally from the top down. Use the incarceration to really go through your drawers and wardrobes. Start clearing out what you haven't worn in a while and what you wont wear. Men as well can do this, after all the shops will have sales on when the lock down ends as they will have tons of summer stock to sell.

Similarly read books and then donate them. Let others learn and live from the experiences a good book gives you. In fact help your local shops and charity shops by buying them now and donate them back after. By the end get rid of all you don't need and all you can spare. There will be many struggling who haven't been able to work or who have had to feed their kids at home if school shuts.

Teach your kids the joy of cooking, maybe teaching yourself at the same time. Try growing food at home and creating other food from scratch. No pubs to rush too or football matches to sit down for. At my work we use homegrown fruit and veg all the time, its great to create food from scratch rather then to defrost it.

At then end of all this you can be the real you, having time to reset. You wont miss going to the pub as you will have detoxed, less posh restaurants as you will have learned to cook. You may have learned some new skills on line and be looking to a new career or be ready for a promotion.

If you come out of this the same as you went in fairy enough, but you will have missed a chance. My change will include writing more and reading more. I am a carer for disabled adults so I will be working just the same but going out less between work shifts. I have been writing a book for about 10 years and have only three thousand words done. Maybe I will get it finished, or at least a few more words done. I wont be able to pop out for takeaways or snacks from the shops so if the gym gets shut down at least I might lose some weight as well.

Personally I will not be able to go to concerts but will use music streaming sites to find some new bands to see when this is all sorted out. Try asking your site for a genre or era of music rather then certain bands. It may then point you to new bands you hadn't tried before. Maybe use the same for tv streaming services, find some new things to watch and even enjoy.

Don't follow the herd, create your own path. Learn to do without a few things for a while and after our freedom has returned you might be able to stay without them.
