A letter to me

Dear Joseph,

I want you to remember that life may not always give you what you want. You can work hard and strive for a better experience, and people may never see the effort that you put in. But I want you to know that it's fine to feel this way. Life is not easy, and often times it's filled with laughter and love, but you will have your fair share of trials and tribulations. You have to hold your head high in these moments and keep pushing forward so that you may bring your dream into fruition. People may not agree with the goals you have, and they may criticize you for the aspirations that you have. That doesn’t mean that you need to give up. You just have to close your mind to the close-minded people that don’t believe you can do it.

I know that this may seem dreary to feel like you're the only one you can rely on, but it's your dream. You have all the power in your hands, and you can make a better future for yourself. Just keep pushing so that you may prove to yourself that you can do it. I know that at times, you may feel the stress piling on. You have work, and it feels like its soul-sucking because you want to just get out there and pursue your desires. The first option that I suggest you do is to take a deep breath and look to yourself and find your inner peace. You are not bound to this job or chained in place its just temporary a one-stop pit stop on the road we call life. Take everything you have in stride and make a smaller goal. There is no reason to feel this anxiety that is not hurting anyone else but your own mental state of mind.

Take your time success is not something that comes easy if you have to just take a break from all of the electronics than do it. You don't have to know what's going on in someone else's complicated life; you don't need to feel envy. That person is not you, and they may look as if they have a greener pasture that doesn't mean that it's not fake. The trees could be dying from the poison in the ground from self-loathing or self-harm. A picture or a video is not a representation of someone's true self, so read a book or do some meditation. Clear your mind from the fog of social media and come back refreshed.

Remember that being inspired is a beautiful plane that many people wish to visit, but some may never reach. When you go to show your heart and feelings to the people you want to entertain. Don't do it for the instant gratification of fame or money do it for the person that was inspired and excited. Do it for the worlds you visited from the comfort of your own home. Fascinated by the people you never met but felt every interaction as if it was real and connected with an author as they pour their very soul to you. I want you to remember that this is not about money but to reciprocate the same joy that you felt while enjoying books, movies, poems, and music. Do it for your self-love and your therapy in hopes that it may touch another person’s heart and soul so that they may heal.
