Ricky “Ace” Jagong is 39 years old and a professional hairdresser, currently overseeing the “R3C’s Hairworks by Ace Jagong. ” Interestingly, Ace realized ambitious passion at a young age. This left him fascinated when he saw a neighbor, Aling, shave a boy’s head—an act he has never witnessed any woman do. As much as this dream never materialized, it was revived years after when he became a salesperson in a mall. One day, Ace was intrigued by the styling of the hairstylists stationed opposite his shop in the salon.

He followed his heart with the prod of his wife Mrs. Cory Jagong which helped Ace to continue with his dream. To get more information on hairstyling classes he saw his friends and then trained at “Creations by Lourd Ramos. ” After half a year of training, he became one of the lead stylists for the of TRESemmé style bus where he honed the skills acquired in training. Over the years, Ace trained himself to become a professional barber, and new to the departments of the salon and friends who requested home services.

Turning a Setback into an Opportunity

Like many individuals, the pandemic beginning in 2020 hindered Ace from working due to body limitations and extensive lock-downs. But this was not a setback but an opportunity to change the direction. This dream of having an salon of his own was achieved with the help and assistance from his wife. Of the shows that opened on June 21, 2021, “R3C’s Hairworks by Ace Jagong” is one such show. Ace used the years of practice to treat the clients like Royalty, assisting them in their best asset, their crowning glory.

As a business situated along Zabarte road, Ace’s salon started enjoying good patronage due to good quality services that were offered to clients. Although things didn’t really begin moving until that day I visited, Ace saw to it that each client who left the salon left with a good hairstyle. The services he provide may be a little expensive for a relatively new salon but everything that he did for me was worth every penny. The salon has an uptake of professional level and Ace has proved to be a great determinant of what his clients want.

The Experience of Excellence

Fortunately, I am needingly to have a fresh haircut giving me a chance to experience first-hand how talented Ace is. One day, I was not pleased with the haircut that I had obtained from another hairdresser and therefore went to his salon. Ace not only dyed my damaged hair, but they made it look even better. The characteristics that were evident from this individual were the level of detail and concern in meeting clients’ needs. A young princess with long hair left with much happiness, being sure to leave a tip in appreciation for the work done by Ace.
