An opportunity to have a more experienced way of controlling your life.

Awareness can be taught by an outside force, but only you can understand how aware you are of yourself. It's something that causes us to stop and think about our next move. It helps us prevent bad things from happening. It affects everything that we do in so many ways that breaking it down could possibly give someone a mental breakdown themselves.

Awareness is a mental practice of communicating to yourself about the where, who, what, why and how of something (anything) within the present. I say mental practice because the more you practice it, the more you see what it does to your body, life and mind.

Awareness can be the biggest help in countless situations, but it can also be the one thing that can tear a situation apart.

Applying awareness to situations is something that humans naturally do, but we're not exactly aware of our awareness possibily because we tend not to assess what it really is and how it can be applied to life.

The human brain is limitlessly capable of taking on countless skills, even the undiscovered skills too. One of those skills is power and control over your feelings. As people with internal feelings that are controlled by the human, there is no real fact that an outside force can make you change feelings. It's our interests and the kind of experiences we have and have had that make up the feelings we have. For instance, if someone called me out of my name, do i have to get upset? Is it worth getting upset? What will getting upset do? Is it something i want to do? Will it help the situation get resolved for both parties? That is a form of awareness. Being able to stop yourself from your usual reactions to certain things and having the knowledge of having the option of changing those reactions to impact your life and the way you handle real-world situations.

As mentioned before, it is a mental practice so controlling your emotions may take some time, but the time period of practicing is based on how bad you want to change yourself.

Another form of awareness is meditation. It deals with letting your focus leave its hectic and usual setting.........society. We have to realize that every outside force will influence meditation in their own way, but in reality, everyone has their own experience. Meditation ties into presence very tighly because in meditation, you are mentally practicing putting yourself into "now," than "when" or "why." What happens in meditation is that you are making yourself completely aware of how your awareness works in a sense.

Think of awareness as "in the know." If everyone else knows a piece of information that you don't, then you aren't aware of it. You may be aware that you haven't obtained the info, but you're not aware of what it is. You can't be aware of something until you comprehend the who, what, where, why or how of something within the present. In other words, you can't tie your shoe until you know that it's untied.

To better assess your awareness, you can try piecing together how your emotions have worked in the past and think about major situations that could've gone better for both parties, pretty much what people usually do, but it's the details that matter. Think about the tragic events and the happiest events that really triggered your emotions to its max, and think about how present you were in that moment. What went through your brain at the time? How did you react to the climax of the event? Did the situation call for that kind of reaction? How did effect others and how did that make you feel when it affected them the way that it did? You can use those memories to get a better image of you are and at the same time, improve on who you are through awareness skills.

This is just one of the many ways to help improve your awareness. There's people who have to teach it to themselves because they may have had a life-changing experience that caused them to forcifully feel a change of conscience, which can lead to a change in routine, a change in your thought process, and many other changes as well. Lots of people brush past over the fact that this is one the traits that built the world we live in today. It's not something that we can limit our perception on as to how it can apply to life simply because life goes on and so does the fact that there are so many things that we are unaware of now that can change the future. Being more aware of what is going on this life can truly make a needed differnece for everyone.
