Hand off your hat, Grab a beer, and Settle in. We’re off for a bumpy ride. It’s the MAN TRAIN. It may go off the rails. First off, let me note that, even without the obvious feathered embellishments and scarring ... I look absolutely nothing like the picture above. Well, I do have arms, legs, head, eyes.. and all the requisite anatomical parts that define the basic biological make up of the human male. All of which still function properly. 👍 That is almost where it ends. I am 60, a bit overweight, 5’6” tall, and no person’s definition of a … “hunk.” My beloved wife & soulmate, however, just said to me, “To me, you are my hunk.”

Self-Made Man
When you grow into adulthood without the role of a father figure, one often discovers there are lessons that need teaching; things like how to patch up a hole in the plaster wall before moving out of a rented space, things like which IPA to order at a bar. Things like how to shave, how to win a fight, or how to engage in small talk with men who transiently appear in your life about the football game last night. How to feel strong, how to be strong, how to pretend that you’re strong when you’re not, how to not be strong at all — lessons that would do well to be imparted by a father figure.

"I thought you hated me," my dad said to me. It was almost 2 in the morning, we were standing outside of my sister's house after my other sister got married in the backyard. Edward AndersonPublished 12 months ago in MenWhat happens when you take Testosterone?
Testosterone is a hormone that creates a man and promotes the development of his male characteristics. After the age of 30, testosterone levels begin to decline by about 1% every year. While testosterone production normally falls beyond the age of 30, some men might experience it as early as their twenties as a result of stress and frequent exposure to higher quantities of pollutants and chemicals. Worse, the leftover testosterone becomes more linked to other chemicals in the body, rendering it inactive.
