Concerning and exploring the human spirit and soul.
My NDE: Near Death Experience
I’d like to think that I’m just a normal guy. I work, pay my taxes, and try to be a decent human being. I lead a very active lifestyle. Even in the midst of the covid epidemic, I’ve managed to stay busy doing Rideshare airport runs to help cover the sizable drop in music contracting work.

My Spiritual Journal
Hello, welcome to part 1 of my spiritual journal, I have chosen to expose all my juicy stories that have led me to where I am. This is the beginning, however I will never have an end to this path, yet I might not remember every path I take, well I believe in more than one life, somehow that makes sense to me, and thousands of others, in this path I've been reading, writing, and living through trauma just like most, yet less than most.

Rainbow Body
Most Americans with whom I’ve spoken throughout the past two decades regard Buddhism as a peaceful tradition, full of methods to engender a holistic lifestyle of mindful living. Others see it as an alternative to the Judeo-Christian worldview, attracting hippies and fad diet fanatics. Few, however, think ‘religion’ when considering Buddhism. With the Dalai Lama promoting interfaith—open dialogue with many of the world’s religious leaders—in order to spread the human necessities of love, compassion, forgiveness, tolerance, and harmony, it’s no wonder that the more mysterious side of Buddhism has been little more than a blip on the radar of global consciousness.

The Unknown Eye
"The ones who can see the invisible can do the impossible.”-Albert Einstein What is the unknown eye? It's a small cone-shaped gland that sits in the brain's center that produces melatonin. The melatonin then converts to serotonin, and serotonin then converts to small amounts of N, N-dimethyltryptamine or DMT. This cone-shaped gland has the same structure as your two external eyes. It has retina tissue and has the same wiring as your physical eyes do to your brain's visual cortex. It also releases little crystals of light and color that help one see the universe happening within them. The two external eyes see everything outside of you, while the hidden eye sees everything inside you.

Free Reading #12 for 2021 Mirror Dragon Tarot
Each week when I do these readings I set up my reading space with black fabric (for the photo, mostly but it also allows for and smooth, calm space to focus on the cards) make sure I have undisturbed quiet time; dogs are out, husband is at work/play/store/whatever, phone is off, etc… I begin with a quick grounding meditation and settle into a centered peace to ask for guidance in choosing the cards which will be most appropriate for the week ahead. I shuffle the cards with my intent in mind and spread them in a dealer’s “ribbon spread”. Then with eyes closed, I ask for the Center card, the West card and finally, the East card, reaching out to the spread, touching the cards and choosing the one that feels most fully under my finger tip, then sliding them into their positions. Before opening my eyes I return to a calm, centered state and do my best to sense whether the three cards I’ve chosen are the most fitting for the highest and best for all involved. Only then do I turn them face up and photograph them for the reading. There are times when I see the three cards before me and groan or breathe a sigh of relief but I always use the cards I’ve selected ”blindly”.

On Suffering and the End of Suffering
Suffering in Buddha’s teaching does not necessarily mean grave physical pain, but rather the mental suffering we undergo when our tendency to hold onto pleasure encounters the fleeting nature of life, and our experiences become unsatisfying and ungovernable. ~ Sharon Salzberg

Are you a Starseed?
We were the misfits, the empaths, the door mats, the rebels, and the ones that just didn’t fit in. We were the lovers and sensitive intuitives hiding behind addictions and being kept down by mental disorders. We were force-fed pharmaceutical drugs. We were the ones living in a world that was far too harsh for us to handle or accept. Reality was something we were always trying to escape.
