DR. WENDY BLACK IN BUSINESS: LAWS OF ATTRACTION IN ACTION
Dr. Wendy Dearborne, moved to the Las Vegas Valley over 25 years ago from London, UK, where she was born and raised of West Indian parentage. Having a doctor’s degree in life coaching and metaphysical science she’s aided people around the globe in personal growth, counseling, and teaching the understanding that food goes beyond its nutritional value. A true entrepreneur and business woman, her altruistic contributions online and in the real world branch out in various industries, from nutrition author, podcast host, choice expert and clarity coach. My life, as well as those she’s touched, would be stunted and considerably different without her emotional intelligence, support, encouragement and words of inspiration which have made a tremendous impact in pushing people to sculpt an authentic life, trust their intuition, and focus on personal goals and expectations in each evolving phase of life’s journey.

It is hard to be a minority living with discrimination and someone who did not experience that cannot understand you. It is all about frustration and sometimes you feel helpless. The opportunities you want are given to others and somehow you can never get the treatment you deserve from the institutions. Let me tell you a story of an intelligent man who achieved so much in his life with hard work and patience.

Today, hidden disabilities are recognised as biomedical, including them as part of the body rather than something separate in our mind. Hidden disability is an umbrella term that covers disabilities that aren’t visible, however can have a huge and long-term effect on a person’s day-to-day life — as much as a physical disability would. This can range broadly, including but not limited to chronic pain, chronic fatigue, mental illness, psychiatric disabilities, brain injury, epilepsy, and learning difficulties.

How Jonathan Van Ness Became a Role Model
I'm a huge Queer Eye fan. I follow all five of the current #FabFive on Twitter (except for #KaramoBrown, who left Twitter amid backlash he received following comments he made regarding #SeanSpicer). I've seen all four seasons of Queer Eye repeatedly on Netflix; it's my second favorite show to watch to unwind after RuPaul's Drag Race, and I've seen several appearances made by Tan (France, fashion expert), Antoni (Porowski, food expert), Karamo (culture expert), Bobby (design expert) and Jonathan (Van Ness, grooming expert) on various talk shows. I love the group's chemistry and how genuinely invested they are in their "heroes." I also love the genuine affection they all seem to have for one another; in a world which sometimes feels as though it's gotten exceedingly negative, seeing these five men being open to their experiences and to how they feel about each other is just something really powerful to witness.
