Corona-what !

We are all sitting around in a wide hysteric about this virus, people are buying out toilet and paper, Lysol wipes, baby wipes, etc and I think everyone is taking everything a little too far, but before I get reamed, understand this before this all happened we knew we had to wash our hands, basic hygiene right! Wrong people are out there taking this and a global world war z and heaven forbid we don’t have enough toilet paper but the way I am trying to logically look at this is that it is a respiratory virus that affects the lungs it does not give us explosive diarrhea.so I know there is a lot of seriousness to this problem and it may be something we deal with for several months to come, this is essentially a calm before a royal shit show, Canada is only starting to wear the effects with 5 death, considering Italy is dealing with 2500. but yes this is serious but we need to think logically about what we do moving forward. I know being in a family currently, that has immunocompromised persons yes this is scary, hell downright hellish. but the whole point of my insight /opinion on this is to put some comedic relief on a shitty situation ( see what I did there !) I know my area is suffering dramatically and there have barely been any confirmed cases. the elderly and low income only get paid once a month ( old age, and CCTB ) so all you out there bulk buying now leaves us without. These people are suffering the most as they already are frail and have crappy immune systems not given the fact the amounts they provide is piddly and most of them only travel if they are lucky to a grocery store once a month when old age pension comes and that might be great, but since this pandemic is such an issue now not only are they searching like mice for their needs but the stuff they try to get now is out of their small budget because items are being hiked in prices. To me that is a little dumb, yes Ontario is in a state of emergency, the USA is in the state of emergency and hell country’s have shut down. Thing is, in my 31 years of life I have never seen a virus take something and overexert things. and most in my generation have survived H1N1, ebola, SARS, Bird flu. the world has thrown a ton of crap of sickness at us, but we have all come out smelling like roses, but not this time, everywhere and everything is shutting down, so dig out those board games, wine, rum, whiskey whatever you drink, and bunk down until the smoke clears, remember this could be all worse. hug your kids, call your loved ones. So people keep in mind unless you are sneezing and blowing watery chunks out your bum can we not buy all the toilet paper, and baby wipes and other things, we all need to live and hey if all else fails we can kick it old style and hunt for stuff and spring is coming so we will have natural toilet paper. just watch out for poison ivy and poison berries. Get your camping gear out it's going to be a long few months, have local stock on you, and no I don't mean enough to go making toilet paper forts that is what the cardboard boxes are for or give the kids the cardboard roll from the tp and tell them to make a house if you are going to hoard after all
