Creatives Launch The First Minority-Owned Dispensary To Educate Communities In The South On Health Benefits

Wilfredo Rosa and Lindsey Smith are the creative owners of Lavender House CLT. The couple is the first minority couple in the south to launch a CBD dispensary and it's located in the Charlotte, NC area. The wife, Lindsey, is of African American and of Native American heritage, while Wilfredo is Latino. With marijuana being illegal to use in the south, the couple's slogan "cannabis meets community" is centered to educate communities about the health and wellness benefits of using CBD.

Not only does the couple's ethnic backgrounds separate them from the predominantly white-dominated CBD industry in the south but Lavender House CLT is also unique in its own way. Answer: Some of the health and wellness benefits of using CBD are Inflammation stress disorder, assistance with sleeping disorders, pain relief, help maintaining diabetes, and cancer just to name a few.

How has business been during the pandemic?

Answer: The business has been growing extremely well during the pandemic because health and wellness being the main priority in people’s lives.

How do you balance your relationship, career, and self-care?

Answer: We stay faithful, continue to manifest, and relief in our savior Jesus Christ

What impact do you intend to make with your business?

Answer: We intend to franchise Lavender House and spread the “Cannabis meets community” message throughout the United States, to continue to educate health, wellness, and CBD benefits.
