If you are anything like me, then you're always looking for writing competitions to get in or just magazines to submit to. Hoepfully you're not like me in this next part...

I always miss deadlines.

Yeah, I even wrote something I submitted here only because I miss the deadline on the competition.

Anyway, here are a few contests to try your hand at.

Note: I think that sometimes submitting to contests with a fee is worth it, and sometimes it isn't. I decide this based on how much money I have to spare, the prize amount, and I try to think about the likelihood (how many entries (Reedsy shows you a rough amount of entries), how good my work is etc.)

So, don't feel bad if you don't want to/can't submit somewhere with a fee. Some writers are very anti fees and call such contests 'em a ripoff, I just like to test myself.
