Blisters appear very quickly within 12 - 24 hours in people with chickenpox.

Chickenpox is caused by the Varicella Zoster virus . The disease usually appears in late winter and early spring, lasting into summer.

Chickenpox patients show signs of fatigue, loss of appetite, and fever 24-48 hours later. On the third day, a rash begins on the skin, initially red, sore spots, and after a few hours, blisters appear on the skin.

Blisters appear very quickly within 12 - 24 hours. Blisters are 1 - 3mm in size, containing clear fluid. In severe cases, the blisters will be larger or when infected with bacteria, the blisters will be cloudy due to containing pus.

The most common complication of the disease is skin infection that can lead to scarring. These scars are often pitted scars on the skin, causing aesthetic loss and often lasting for life. Chickenpox is very contagious in the community.

Foods that should be avoided

People with chickenpox should avoid eating eel meat.

While sick, you should avoid greasy foods, avoid eating foods that are hot and too nutritious.

People suffering from chickenpox should avoid eating hot spices such as: ginger, onion, garlic, onions, leeks, chili, pepper, cumin, curry, mustard, coriander, meats such as goat meat, dog meat, chicken, goose, goose, eel, seafood (shrimp, crab, oysters, snails...), lychee, longan, plum, ripe mango, jackfruit, persimmon, cherry peaches, water spinach, fatty substances such as chestnuts, roasted peanuts, roasted melon seeds, fried beans, donuts, fried foods, animal fat...

The most taboo is cinnamon , because cinnamon has a very hot, pure yang nature, and has the effect of warming and supporting fire. If it is too dry, it will damage yin, and is very dangerous for chickenpox patients.

People with chickenpox should not eat foods flavored with cinnamon.

Dairy products : All dairy products are not good for people with chickenpox. Therefore, you should avoid giving your child foods such as milk, cheese, cream and butter when they have chickenpox because they will make the skin produce more oil.

Junk food : Junk food is a bad choice when your child has chicken pox as it will only make the condition worse and make the patient feel weak and sick. A diet without foods containing stimulants is much better for the patient.

After healing, the wounds begin to dry out and the skin becomes tender, so use fresh turmeric right now to treat concave scars after chickenpox.

How to use: wash the turmeric root, gently scrape off the outer skin to release the juice from the inside. Apply this juice evenly around the scar area once a day before going to bed, leave it overnight and wash it off the next morning, then continue to apply another layer.
