Why should brides have all of the fun with their outfits? There is plenty available for grooms.

Just as a wedding is the most important day for the bride, it is also the most important day for the groom. Men are fashion conscious as well, though some find it difficult to accept. Typically, the bride takes the majority of the spotlight. We make certain that our groom is as attractive as the bride.

Here are 5 fun alternatives to your standard go-to groom looks:

1. Asymmetrical Bandhgalas:

If you're a groom-to-be or one of the groomsmen, you'll almost certainly be wearing a bandhgala over cotton vest to one of the functions. Every Indian couture designer has a large selection of basic bandhgalas from which to choose. Along with unusual colours such as wine, burgundy, and teal, grooms can also choose unusual haircuts. The basic bandhgala look is boosted by asymmetrical and geometrically undefined patterns.

2. All that glitters :

A little glitz on the collar or cuffs? Nah! All-shimmer blazers are what we're talking about here. Sheen suits and tuxedos are both sartorial and visually appealing. A daring groom can look like a vision in a little too much glitter on the blazers or achkans. On the sherwanis, we're even big fans of full mirror work. Just the right amount of gleam for your cocktail party or reception.

3. The humble Kurta-Blazer combo.

Yes, your Sangeet/Mehendi/Haldi function necessitates more than just a kurta-nehru set. While we love traditional Indian attire, a new twist is always welcome. On your basic kurta set, replace the traditional Nehru jacket with a formal blazer. (Once again, we don't mean the Indian bandhgala by blazer.) It could also go with your kurta-trousers or pathani sets. You now have a stylish fusion look for the (celebrity-inspired) groom.

4. Sartorial Long bandis

A long-running trend on the runway, but not widely seen on grooms. The ideal blend of modern and ethnic. It's perfect for summer because it's light and breezy, and it'll get you tonnes of compliments. If you want to make a statement, pair it with embroidered loafers.

5. An Ombre Effect:

We're surprised that ombre prints aren't more popular. This is one trend that grooms should embrace. It's not only one-of-a-kind and unusual, but it's also elegant and royal. Merging dual tones are a beautiful vision on grooms and are a sure shot stand out in the crowd. A shading of more than two colours can also make your outfit stand out and shine.

Ladies, put your best foot forward!! This season, men everywhere will work their magic in their suave groomswear.

Outfit Ideas For Groomsmen

Casual Blazers

At any event, a man's best friend is a casual blazer. They can be worn with coloured jeans or chinos. The entire ensemble, when paired with a nice pair of formal or boat shoes, exudes a laid-back vibe. Adding a tie and a pocket square elevates the look, making it ideal for the wedding's more formal events. You can wear these to a bachelorette party or a cocktail party. The groomsmen's blazers could be colour coordinated to be lighter or darker than the groom's. This gives the groomsmen a unified appearance and makes them appear as a cohesive group ready for the groom's big day.

Long Bandhgala Jacket For Groomsmen

Sherwanis are the most traditional wedding attire. You would be astounded by the number of different ways to wear a sherwani with a south Indian white lungi in today's fashion society. Colors are always a good option, but they don't suit everyone. Instead, go for the classic black, which contrasts with the groom. Experiment with prints and embroideries for a more opulent look. Reduce the amount of work on the sherwani to ensure that the groom stands out and the groomsmen are prepared. Match the sherwani with safas and juttis.

Sherwani with Dhotis

These sherwanis are a hot commodity this season, giving regular sherwanis an interesting yet ethnic twist with a dhoti. Dhotis add a traditional Indian look to any man's outfit. An Indian man looks right at home in a well-dressed dhoti that contrasts with the sherwani. All the while bringing the colour of the sherwani into focus. Not only that, but they are ideal for weddings at any time of day. Dhotis are even better for summer weddings because they keep you cool in the heat. Pairing them with an embellished jutti and a Nehru jacket would make this an appropriate outfit for an engagement or reception. A dhoti kurta set can also be paired with a stole and juttis as another option.

3-Piece Suit for Groomsmen

What could be more gentlemanly than a dashing three-piece suit? The path to a well-fitting suit is impeccably styled and pristine tailoring. This wedding season, experiment with colour. Choose a colour that complements your skin tone and gives you a polished appearance. When in doubt, the classic black and white combinations will save the day. To complete your look, you'll need a good tie and a pocket square. And, because the evaluation begins with your feet, don't forget to shine those leather shoes to perfection. You are a member of the groom's squad, so dress to impress. The colours of the groomsmen's vests can be coordinated. They can also coordinate their ties and pocket squares.

We hope that these suggestions will help the grooms and groomsmen find some outfit inspiration.
