1. TEACH

Do you have a skill that might be useful to someone else? Are you an experienced graphic designing, or can you write well professionally? If yes you could write and design your own online course on things like Skillshare, Udemy, and Teachable. If you already have a decent camera, whether in your computer or otherwise, this is even more perfect for you.

Skillshare allows you to work at your own pace. You can either screen cast or you can record yourself. If your course requires a lot of slides and examples it may be better to simply do a voice over. With Skillshare you earn by 2 ways; earn referrals or earn royalties. They base their royalties on how long a student watches your class.

Revenue on Udemy is made by how your course is sold. If you sell your course through your own marketing strategies you can make over 90% of the revenue share. However if it is sold through an affiliate you can make 25% or less of the total sale.

Teachable will have you set up "schools" and gives you a 14 day free trial before you have to choose one of the 3 plans. You can either choose basic ($29), professional ($99), or the business plan ( $249). All the plans have has unlimited student and instant pay outs, but the the basic plan comes with a 5% transaction fee on top of the monthly fee for the plan. The basic plan allows 2 admins, the professional plan allows 5 admins, and the business plan allows 20 admins. Unless you are consistently working on your Teachable course, by marketing and creating course, you could lose money if you aren't making more than the monthly fee you are paying.

2. It's Delivery!

Pizza and Chinese are no longer the only ones who deliver, and companies hiring delivery guys are a thing of the past. Businesses are starting to use things like Doordash , Uber Eats, and Postmates to outsource their delivery needs. When Doordash is busy it will throw you jobs to do. You make revenue with the delivery fee and tips. Uber Eats pays their drivers by the distance and time a delivery requires. Postmates pays you by the distance traveled between pickup and dropoff, how long you waited at the store, a pay out for completed orders, and any tips given belong to the driver.

3. Crafts! Crafts! Crafts!

This is a personal favorite of mine. My days are always a world wind of studying, working, domestic duties, and adult responsibilities. I find myself with little bits of time here and there, but not quite enough to accomplish anything. Or I end up with some serious burn out and need a creative outlet to help relieve some stress and rejuvenate my mind. Luckily there are ways to make a little cash! There are many places to sell your handmade items. The 2 most popular seem to be Etsy and Amazon. However, these sites are not the best for "craft when I can" crafter that I am. Facebook Marketplace is a good way to post listings without having to pay a fee for the listing, a subscription, or have any transaction fees. The transactions themselves are more difficult and neither you nor the customer has much assurance about the product getting where it needs to go. I personally like Mercari . It is very easy to use and you don't need a subscription, nor is there a listing fee. There is a 10% selling fee and a $2 direct deposit fee. You cannot cash out until you have at least $10 in your account.

My latest product from my Mecari account is this handmade, multicolored, velvet, 4 1/2 foot Scarf. I can even see how many views it has received!
