Besides helping you out in the struggle against tartar, baking soda helps remove stains from your teeth giving you a wider brighter smile.

2. Orange peel

Do you ever wonder what to do with orange peel leftovers? Well, don't waste any more. If you want to remove dirt and tartar from your teeth, rub the white part of the peel directly on your teeth for 2-3 minutes. You can also make a paste, apply it to your teeth, and rinse your mouth with warm water. Apply orange peel to your teeth two to three times a week.

3. Lemon juice

Citric acid not only dissolves plaque but also whitens teeth. Soak a toothbrush in fresh lemon juice and gently scrub your teeth. Leave on for 1 minute before washing off. Use this method only once every two weeks. Otherwise, you can do a lot of damage to your teeth. If you have sensitive teeth, you should probably choose a different plaque removal method. Lemon juice has too much citric acid, which can make your teeth sore or sensitive.

These work like natural scrubs to brush and clean your teeth. Just chew a tablespoon of seeds. You want to make something like a paste in your mouth without swallowing. After successfully completing this challenge, take a dry toothbrush and brush your teeth with the paste. This method he can use twice a week.

5. Hydrogen peroxide and mouthwash

Both ingredients have great antibacterial effects, so when combined they form an excellent team. Mix 1 tablespoon of antiseptic mouthwash with 3 tablespoons of 3% hydrogen peroxide solution. Gargle with this mixture for a few minutes and drain with fresh water.

6. Coconut oil

Coconut oil absorbs dirt in the mouth, reduces tartar and plaque, and helps eliminate bad breath. It also has an antibacterial effect against microorganisms that live in the mouth. Put 1-2 tablespoons of coconut oil in your mouth and hold it in your mouth for 10-15 minutes, then spit it out and rinse thoroughly with warm water.

7. Tomatoes and strawberries

Tomatoes and strawberries are both rich in vitamin C, so you can use them even if you don't like lemons and oranges. Crush both into a paste, apply to teeth, leave on for 5 minutes, then rinse mouth with water. However, special care should be taken with strawberries. If you have sensitive teeth, strawberries contain sorbic acid, which can damage tooth enamel. If you decide to use this method, we recommend that you use fluoride toothpaste to brush your teeth immediately after rinsing your mouth.

8. Aloe vera and glycerin

This combination is really good for your teeth. Mix 1 teaspoon of pure aloe vera gel, 4 teaspoons of vegetable glycerin, 10 drops of lemon essential oil, and 4 tablespoons of baking soda in 1 cup of water to form a smooth paste. This spice has been used since ancient times as a pain reliever for toothache, and it also kills bacteria. Crush the cloves or take a ready-made powder, add a little olive oil, and apply the mixture to the stained area. Another way to use cloves is by chewing them regularly to reduce bad breath caused by bacteria in your mouth. Try it instead of regular gum

Here's a bit of an unusual tartar-removing method. Sanguinaria is a plant commonly known as a red root plant, but it's not as strange as it looks. At first glance, red root extract is often found in toothpaste. It is a safe antibacterial agent that is effective in reducing tartar. Simply add 3-4 drops of sanguinaria extract to a cup of warm water to make a mouthwash. You can gargle every day or twice a day.

All of these natural remedies are effective if your tartar build-up has not yet reached critical levels. If this is the case, or if you have sensitive teeth that react strongly to acids, consult your dentist before trying these methods. Special methods for removing plaque and tartar can only be performed by a dentist.
