Trends keep on changing whether it’s the fashion world or that of technology. Every other day, we come across something new in almost every field, even memes! Today, our focus of discussion is going to be technology.

Because of the worldwide epidemic, a majority of the global IT workforce is sitting at home. From getting a new internet plan Cox gigablast in my case, online medical appointments, to taking virtual tours of museums, we have made several changes in our routine life because of it. If you want to make the most of your time at home in 2021, there are several technological trends to keep an eye on and be aware of what’s happening around you.

Here’s a rundown of some of the latest technology trends for 2021:

1: Digital Workplaces

By the end of June 2020, 42 percent of the US workforce went working from home full-time. Collaboration software exploded as we struggled to find the best methods to work remotely. The global video conferencing industry was expected to reach USD7.87 billion in 2020, more than doubling from the previous year.

Employees have reacted positively to the convenience of 'WFH life,' and businesses have noticed the benefits as well in terms of lower office rental and other costs. According to the Future of Enterprises survey, 60 percent of decision-makers are extremely satisfied with their capacity to reduce office space, with 43 percent strongly predicting they will have no office at all by 2030. Remote workers are also up to 40 percent more productive than their in-office counterparts.

2: Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning

AI has generated a lot of hype over the last decade, but it remains one of the newest technology trends since its significant effects on how we live, work, and play are still in their infancy. AI is already well-known for its supremacy areas such as speech recognition, personal assistants, navigational apps, and even social media applications like Snapchat.

Aside from that, AI will be used to analyze interactions in order to uncover further connections and insights, to predict demand for services such as hospitals, allowing authorities to make better decisions about resource allocation, and to detect changing patterns of consumer behavior and more, resulting in increased revenue avenues and personalized experiences.

Machine Learning, a subset of AI, is being used in a wide range of businesses, resulting in high demand for qualified workers. According to Forrester, AI, machine learning, and automation will generate percent of new employment in the USA by 2025. This will make it yet another new technology trend to be aware of!

3: Telehealth Care

The healthcare industry has a history of being resistant to technological upgrades. We are kind of thankful for the COVID-19 pandemic for creating room for acceptability and change. The utility of telehealth technology has played a significant role in preventing the spread of the virus through tracking, testing, and treatment.

Research is being conducted to use AI for monitoring and managing the demand for healthcare resources, and developing and refining the Ai analysis as well as the insight models for better planning and prediction.

4: Clean Tech

Clean Tech trends include renewable energy, greener transportation, energy-efficient structures, and sustainable water consumption. Clean-use tech is becoming more prevalent as costs fall, and its disruption is seen across a growing variety of industries.

companies must establish operational improvement programs linked to tech development, procurement, manufacturing, and cost reduction to keep up with rising business-building prospects. Clean technologies also promise an abundant supply of green energy to fuel exponential technological growth, such as in high-power computers.

5: New Generation Programming

Prepare for Software 2.0, in which neural networks and machine learning generate code and new software. This tech trend will enable quick development and spread of new data-rich, AI-driven applications.

It may result in the development of software programs that are far more powerful and capable than anything now accessible. However, it will make it easy to standardize and automate existing software and development processes.

6: 5G

How can we forget, 5G is the next technology wave to emerge! 3G and 4G technologies allowed us to access the internet, offered better bandwidth for streaming content, and do so much more, 5G services are predicted to completely transform our lives. It’s going to unleash the potential in so many other fields including AR and VR. It is also projected to be deployed in factories, HD cameras that aid in traffic management and safety, smart grid control, and smart retail.

7: Enterprises Without Borders

In the future, enterprises will act locally and worldwide at the same time in the future, with remote working and growing international goals. They'll be more local in the sense that their employees will spend less time traveling and commuting and will instead spend most of their time working and living in their own neighborhoods. furthermore, businesses will operate internationally, recognizing that an employee's home could be anywhere on the planet.
