Screenplay Campaign.

Hello West Coast Milblogger fans, as promised here’s the first meme commissioned by parent company From A to Z to promote the new screenplay, Z-Dead, now competing in Hollywood contests.

Of course, this is Ed Solomon best known for writing screenplays like Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure and Men in Black. He also hosts Word by Word (#wordbyword) and you can find that show on Patreon.

Now to this week’s writing, as we learn more from our very own AI Bot/Cat Jax, about the latest on US Presidential Candidates, America vs. China, and NATO Posturing.

US Presidential Candidates.

Explain the status of America’s quest to elect a new president after the recent ruling in the Trump trial.

Breaking News this week, as former President Trump was found guilty on all 34 counts in his hush money trial in New York City. According to courtroom reporters on NPR the verdict was based on facts arrived at through testimony and a paper trail.

In question, the conspiracy of a financial transaction for $130,000. Was it a legal fee paid to Mr. Cohen? Or did Mr. Cohen use that money to keep Stormy quiet? While some might say, we’ll never truly know, an appeal is already being theorized.

So far, in the argument of precedent, no one has pointed out the Trump conviction could be seen as an example for the process of putting Putin 2.0 or Netanyahu on trial in The Hague. Until now, that’s a first on West Coast Milblogger!

Meanwhile, President Biden has approved Ukraine’s use of weapons on Russian soil. The move appeases residents of Kyiv who held candlelight vigils in front of the US Embassy. This is a redline for Russia as they’ve already threatened nuclear strikes. More on that in a bit.

Now, let’s remember two-time NBA Champion Bill Walton who died at the age of 71 this week. He saw the world through a West Coast lens much like fellow UCLA alumni Jim Morrison and Ray Manzarek. Too bad Walton didn’t live to become POTUS.

America vs. China.

Tell us how China is taking the lead after the death of Iran’s President while the wider Arab conflict looks to have subsided.

After meetings in Europe, then hosting Putin 2.0 in China, President Xi went to the Middle East to talk with political leadership in the region. This coincides with the recent passing of Iran’s President and Foreign Minister who had both been integral in a blossoming relationship with the rising superpower.

China’s influence in the area mostly seen as economic cooperation with Arab States. Infrastructure projects including ports, roads, and rails meant to speed up the trade of technology for future energy needs.

It might seem counterintuitive, yet this partnership could be the leading push to solve climate change through the curbing of fossil fuel usage in favor of wind and solar, with advancements in battery storage and power transmission. This is being accomplished with semiconductor chips.

While the US extended condolences to Iran, after the passing of their President in a tragic helicopter accident, even as it is now known their proxy Houthi forces can use GPS jamming equipment according to Combat Vet News; the US points out China supplies resources to aid Russia and North Korea’s defense industries. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken makes the case without this lethal aid these two countries would be rendered harmless.

Right now, China’s Defense Minister Dong Jun and his US counterpart Lloyd Austin are meeting in Singapore. Most of their dialogue is being put into a Black Lives Matter framework. Yet while Austin is an African American, he represents the colonial racism China has endured in the past, as they seek to unshackle themselves from this institutional influence.

NATO Posturing.

Please share why NATO allows Ukraine to cross redlines despite threats from the Kremlin for all-out nuclear war.

Developing this week, America approves use of weapons on Russian soil. This is in the Kharkiv direction where Russian forces are gathering to deliver a decisive defeat to Ukraine. Without approval, Ukraine would have to withstand aerial, mortar, and artillery rounds before an assault of more than 300,000 freshly trained little green men.

Ukraine approval means, they can begin selecting targets at will on the Russian side of the border to strike with precision guided munitions. This new army meant to terrify civilians can now be chewed to bits before crossing the border, maintaining national integrity on both sides.

This development has already been met with threats of nuclear war from President Putin 2.0 and his supporters. NATO continues to signal it can disarm Russia’s nuclear arsenal if needed with conventional weapons. This can be done at any moment once the order is given.

In defense, the Kremlin hasn’t made moves to arm its nuclear warheads. Western intelligence continues to monitor their activity and there’s nothing alarming happening inside Russia despite the headlines. Plus, just like in George Orwell’s book “1984” the FSB reports Western leaders are preparing to use nuclear weapons against them.

The FSB, the same Russian security agency who reported Putin’s death from a heart attack at his home in December of 2023. It remains unknown if the original Putin remains in a meat freezer, or if he’s been chopped into pieces and thrown into the sea?

In Conclusion.

Another exciting week around the globe as we hold on to our seats for the decisive apocalyptic nuclear moment we’ve all been told about. West Coast Milblogger doesn’t support war. It only reports on it because From A to Z’s mission to solve climate change has been thwarted by conflicts.

Next week, West Coast Milblogger has a new meme to share as our Hollywood script continues to compete for blockbuster status on the silver screen.
