The ABC Discovers Digital Talent Competition

If you think you are an actor, then ABC is looking for you. The American Broadcasting Company is now offering Digital Talent Competition that is administrated by the LeadDog Marketing Group.

The competition gives America’s undiscovered and talented actors a chance to showcase their talent on a big stage. The eligible contesters have to be residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 18 years old and who have the right to work in the United States.

ABC Talent and Casting is searching for fresh voices and original faces for ABC Entertainment and ABC Studios scripted programming. One (1) Grand Prize Winner will win a one year $25,000 talent deal with ABC.

The American Broadcasting Company (ABC) was originally launched on October 12, 1943. The American Broadcasting Company (ABC) is an American English-language commercial broadcast television network that is owned by the Disney–ABC Television Group which is a subsidiary of the Disney Media Networks division of The Walt Disney Company.

Eligibility:

• The applicant must be a legal resident of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia with the unrestricted right to work in the United States,
• Minimum18 years of age (or the age of majority in the jurisdiction of their residence, whichever is older) as of the date of entry.
• The ABC Discovers Digital Talent Competition contest is void where prohibited by law.
• Individuals who have, within six (6) months prior to the start date of the Contest, performed material services (including but not limited to, as employees, consultants, independent contractors, and interns) for Sponsor, LeadDog Marketing Group (“Contest Administrator”) and/or each of their respective parent, subsidiary, related, affiliated and successor companies, and the immediate family and household members of all such foregoing individuals, are not eligible to participate in the Contest.

Audition for ABC: Submit now for the ABC Discovers Digital Talent Competition

Digital Talent Competition has kicked off for 2018. ABC is looking to discover and champion actors who may not have had the opportunity to be seen yet by a team of professional casting executives.

The Past winners include Cornelius Smith Jr., a series regular on the hit drama "Scandal." 2015 winner Sam Adegoke has had many recurring roles and will star in the second season of CW's reboot of "Dynasty." 2016 winner Beth Tiffin had a recurring role in the ABC series "Ten Days in the Valley," and 2017 winner Sabrina Texidor will have a role in the upcoming Eva Longoria-produced ABC drama "Grand Hotel."

Actors who submit are tasked to create a video performing one of the comedy or drama scenes posted on ABCDiscovers.com. Applications will be judged based on the quality of performance, body language, potential star power. and technical skillset.

There's also another separate contest at ABCDiscoversUK.com for actors in the United Kingdom. Submissions will be accepted until Monday, Sept. 24, and winners will be announced on Wednesday, Nov. 14.
