5 Important ways to becoming a successful model
KNOW YOUR MARKET One of the foremost vital steps to becoming a model knows your market. For beginners, counting on the world you reside in, specific trends and appearances are more popular than others. For example, runway modeling and fashion show modeling aren't as extensive as commercial modeling for print instances like magazines, newspapers, and store sales papers. Knowing your market will also help you understand what look agencies around you're trying to find. By living in a suburb, agencies aren't trying to find that sleek, ultra-sexy look with overstated hair or makeup like bigger cities are. The more natural look is preferred in suburban areas, while trendier, elegant watches are wanted in the town. If your eye doesn't suit your market, move to a neighborhood that does, or consider traveling back and forth to a community that behaves. Also, know if you're auditioning for a market that set out petite sizes, plus sizes, specific clothing aptitude, or for a targeted market like a natural living, city trends, cosmetic companies, etc. Research, research, research!

This pandemic made all of us learn to shop from homes for months. And now with the upcoming festive season sale consumers have made a beeline for online shopping. In the US alone online shopping increased by 30%. Similar behaviour is seen in markets closer home. Brands have shown a whopping demand spike across online channels. Post pandemic, consumers are set to sever ties with brands if the experience is not “safe". Traditional brands have had to hence “digitize" themselves overnight.

These Short Stories Won't Read Themselves
Let me begin by saying that the goal is not really for me to be known but my voice. Voiceover work is all the rage these days since the pandemic created the opportunity to try and survive from home. Some people think all you need is for one person to tell you that they like your voice before you are trying to record a demo.

Reclaiming Your Voice With Vocal
I have always been a writer. It started around age ten when I wrote poetry in a little yellow notebook about the mean girls. Then the poems grew in meaning, and soon all my thoughts held a direct line to the pen, to the paper, to the world. Even if that world was just words freely sitting on the page, out of my head and the only eyes seeing them my own, it didn’t matter, because I was a writer.

How to Master the Technical Aspects of Writing
Prior to the early ’80s, my word processor was a circa 1950 Remington typewriter. It weighed about fifteen pounds and pressing the keys was like playing whack-a-mole. I only had one ribbon for it, so when it got to the end, I reversed the reels and went back through it. With each passing letters had more and more gaps in them. That the keys were so worn, most of them smudged together, helped with that. I did the editing with White-Out. Backups? Forget it.

My Life As An Independent Living Assistant
"Buzz Buzz Buzz!" Computer snooze for five more minutes, I grumble and roll over in bed, opening my groggy eyes and groan. Its time to get up an ready for work. Now don't get me wrong I am one of those lucky ones that have a job they actually enjoy. My groan is at the annoyingly early start to my day. It is either 4:00 A.M or 5:00 A.M. Yes I know what your saying :"That's only an hour difference" However that hour difference is what will help define my day.
