This helps us to target the local audience and helps to promote them in target areas. SMO is used to increase awareness about different products, services or brands on different digital platforms. Digital platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn and Google Plus.

For new start-ups, Facebook is considered as the best medium for promotion such as by making company's Facebook page and uploading videos, photos that help in building a network with the people and in this way we can directly connect with our target audience.
