In today’s world, it is possible for anyone to get valuable media attention. You just need to think more creatively and have something extraordinary to offer the world. This is not always easy, as there are millions of individuals like you trying to get the attention of the media.

In order to get media attention, you need to be a little more creative and be willing to stand out from the crowd and show the world exactly what you have to offer. Like Ralph Waldo Emerson, the American essayist, lecturer and poet who lived in the late nineteenth century, is reported to have said, “Build a better mousetrap, and the world will beat a path to your door.”

Famous Inventors are like super salesmen and saleswomen who have a great product which the world needs, and you could be one of the fortunate few selected for the great offer which the inventor within you is ready to create. Great inventors are geniuses, and super salesmen and women are able to advertise and market that genius and sell the product or service to the world to benefit from and enjoy.

1. Creativity

You need to add a touch of creativity or genius to what you have to offer your community and the world. Hire a creative team or make friends with a creative individual and they will add that invaluable creative spin to your story or idea. Always know that you are a creative individual, whether you have discovered it today or will discover it tomorrow. Every morning, repeat the "life-o-gram" or motivational saying, “I unleash my Creativity,” several times a day. Say it with conviction and soon you will unleash your creativity to the world.

2. Write a Narrative

Attach a story related to your product or service, making it short and sweet and a pleasure to read. Stories are very powerful tools which have been used for centuries to pass on ideas, skills and teachings.

3. Make the Story “New”

This is also not an easy thing to do. Write your story from a fresh angle in order to make it interesting. This is only possible if you add a sprinkle of creativity to your story or offer. There are a limited number of stories, but every story can be presented in a new creative way for your audience.


4. Make the News Unique

The news can be boring at times, but your news should be as interesting and inspiring as you can create it. An emotional news item will have a greater effect on the reader than one which just lists the facts. Humans are creatures of emotion.

5. Make It Emotional:

An emotional story which pulls on the heartstrings; this can make your brand, your product and your service more memorable.

6. Make It Relevant at the Time:

When it is winter, advertise your latest ice-cream flavours. When the rainy weather arrives, it is the right time to advertise your new umbrella designs, like summer is the right time to advertise your latest T-shirt designs.

7. Honesty Always Works:

Always be honest with the customer and the news reporters about your brand, product or service.

8. Add a Bit of Shock Value:

Combine ideas in order to make your story or brand shocking. But, do not go overboard and be branded as a clown or comedian for life. Your logo or tagline could have an element of shock value to make it recognizable or memorable.

9. Offer Your Product or Service:

At the end of your story, mention the offer which you have available for prospective customers.

10. Add a Great Offer:

Add a time limit like a "Last Day" or "Last Week Offer" in order to get customers to rush to buy your product or service.

11. Marketing

Your story should feature in the right newspapers or newsletters. Contact reporters who write for the home and family newsletters or newspapers to feature your latest range of household products. Always do your research on reporters as well as the e-newsletters, blogs, vlogs or newspapers you read and which you would like to be featured in, which will enhance your brand and your reputation in your field of enterprise.

A well-planned course of action can generate fame and fortune for whatever enterprise you are interested in starting in life.
