What It's Like to Be: A British Soldier
"I couldn't do what you do." "I have so much respect for what you do." These are just some of the comments from friends, family and even strangers whenever I would come home for a weekend.
Author Speaks 1
I felt recognized as worthy, in that moment. As though I would soon be formidable competition for those authors that I'd so admired. The notice came that Hellion would be published, although my request to be identified by my pen name would be ignored as Hellion by Hellion (am I over using the word "hellion" at this point?) was deemed too confusing for readers. I felt light and powerful, like my words held such strength that the publishers couldn't help but bend to their will. I felt the corners of my mouth reach for my ears and I couldn't help but release a piercing squeal of joy when I received the news.
Love to Cook, Hate to Eat
Let me start off by saying I love food, cooking, and everything in between. I'm passionate about where my ingredients come from, the farmers who grow or raise my products, and I'm borderline obsessed with keeping up with the newest creations and innovations in the culinary world. I just don't normally like eating. Contradictory, I know, but bear with me.
Elias VerenPublished 7 years ago in JournalMy Adventures as a Pizza Delivery Driver
If you have ever been robbed of anything before, it is one of the worst feelings in the world. Having said that, my story begins. First of all, let me give you a brief description of what kind of car I deliver pizzas in. My car came from an automotive auction, and the only key that I have ever had to the car is the ignition key. No door key, no trunk key. The right front fender is bent all out of whack and is held on with a zip tie. Also, there is no front grill on my car. Oh, by the way, the car is a Honda.

I more or less ended up falling into freelancing quite by accident, even though writing for a living was what I’d always wanted to do. I came to my present job after a half-arsed sending of my CV to a content mill, not even thinking they’d bother to read it—but they did, offered me an interview online and a quick writing test and a few days later I got the job. Sometimes all the planning in the world can’t prepare you for that kind of thing happening.
Don't Be a Dick at the Movies
If you've ever gone to a movie theatre, then you are an asshole. I said it and I'm not sorry. I worked at a movie theatre for four years and I encountered the rudest and dimmest people I'd ever met. I don't know what it is about going to the movies that makes everyone lose their wits and common courtesy but it's outrageous.
Alissa BudzinskiPublished 7 years ago in JournalMy Adventures as a Pizza Delivery Driver
It was another regular day, as I found myself working, delivering pizzas. I have given up on the fact that no matter how good your day could be going, still, something could go wrong, and it did.
Rhonda FarleyPublished 7 years ago in JournalWhat It's Like To Be A Small YouTuber
Where do I even start about YouTube? Well, as this is my first post, I suppose I should start with myself, first. My name is Sophie Alice, I'm a 20-year-old living in England, studying two college courses, those being a Diploma in Counselling Skills Level 3, and a Diploma in Assisted Teaching in Schools Level 2. I was studying Functional Skills Maths Level 2, but then I learnt my name wasn't on the exam register and that course kinda crashed and burned.
Sophie AlicePublished 7 years ago in JournalWhat It's Like To Be: A Former Model
Though most people would never guess it nowadays, I used to be a freelance model when I was in my early twenties. When I tell people what I used to do, I almost always get one of three reactions.

For the past 6-odd years, I've been working as an online blogger - most recognizably in the relationship field. I've been republished on Yahoo, and also on Huffington Post. So, I like to think I'm probably a little successful at what I do.
