Full Job Description:

• Importing expenses & other transactions data from bank statements to Excel; cleaning & summarizing data in Excel as per requirements & standards.

• Make entries in QB online to record Revenue, Expenses & other transactions for each month in relevant charts of accounts based on accrual basis of accounting, within stipulated deadlines.

• Allocation of revenue & expenses transactions to relevant categories & cost centers for budgeting & analysis purposes.

• Monthly, Quarterly, & Annual closing of accounts & preparation of data for filing monthly/quarterly/annual financial reporting, tax compliances and other filings.

• Coordinating with local banks to receive remittance payments from abroad including preparation of required documentation & ensuring smooth completion of the process.

• Prepare, maintain, & update Fixed Assets register, Fixed Assets depreciation schedule, Additions/Deletions of Fixed Assets report, and calculate periodic depreciation in line with accounting standards. Make entries for depreciation in QB online on monthly basis.

• Processing of transactions through online bank portals & maintain complete record of transactions online & offline for review & reference purposes.

• Prepare bank reconciliation statements for all US & Pakistan bank accounts of the company on a monthly basis.

• Assist in Monthly, Quarterly & Annual internal/external audit of the company as per requirements of SECP & FBR

• Prepare ad-hoc reports in Excel using formulas/techniques such as vlookups, hlookups, and index: match, Pivot tables, graphs & charts etc.

• Assist in monthly, quarterly & annual budgeting process.

• Assist in automation of routine accounting tasks to help with fast-tracking of bookkeeping & reporting.

• Assist the HOD in tasks assigned from time to time.

This is an evolving role & job responsibilities will develop with time. We need someone with an attitude for growth, learning, taking initiatives & ownership.

Qualifications Required:

• ACCA / BS (Accounting & Finance) from FCCU/LSE/IBA/LUMS/FAST

• 1-2 Years of Accounting & Finance experience

• QuickBooks (Online)

• Advanced Excel proficiency

• Excellent verbal & oral communication
