I promise you there are no guarantees that come from this article. However, if you're going to play and want to try to actually win something, this can help you to beat the odds on a lottery drawing like this coming up Mega Millions estimated 1,050,000,000 drawing.

The dream of winning the big one is perhaps the most contagious thing in the world, outpacing even the spread of covid. It's only natural to want to be that person that finds themselves on easy street for the first time in their lives. We do it for the dream, we hope for it for our families and their future, and we imagine all the good we can do with the money.

THERE IS A WAY TO UP YOUR ODDS OF WINNING

With all the past billion-dollar drawings we have seen, have you ever wondered about upping your odds, other than spending more money on tickets? There is a way to up your odds.

What if I were to tell you that there are numbers that keep beating the odds of being drawn? How you might ask, would I know such a thing? I didn't, until I asked the question, how can someone beat the odds of winning the lottery? Then down the rabbit hole, I went. Then I stumbled across USA Mega.

The work was already done for me, and all I had to do was sample past winning numbers to confirm that there are those magic numbered balls that do beat the odds of coming up more than others. Some numbers beat the odds by as much as 90 percent.

You don't have a lot of time for me to beat around the bush, do you? I didn't think so. So, I'm going to get right to the crux of the article. What are the numbers? The following is a list of numbers in the Mega Millions drawings that come up more than any others going back to the beginning of the Mega Millions Lottery.

Mega Millions numbers:

14

31

7

11

10

4

8

19

1

28

70

2

17

42

The Mega Ball number that comes up the most is:

22

9

BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE

Don't worry, this won't take long to share. What about playing the odds and the numbers that don't come up often? It stands to reason that eventually they'll come up, so I looked at the ones that rarely come up in the drawing. Here are those numbers, and you can not play these or play a mixture of the most and least popular. My last shot at the drawing, admittedly it wasn't much, but I did get a $19 dollar win and a $16 dollar win out of $12 dollars in tickets.

Here are the numbers that come up the least, and remember anything that isn't on this list or the list of most often to come up are the ones that come up once in a while.

What if you're looking for the least drawn numbers in a game like the Mega Millions? Try these:

50

63

9

36

57

64

35

I like you will probably drop 20 to 30 bucks on a one-billion-dollar drawing. But, with an honest look at the facts about a lottery drawing and the numbers that have come up before, we can arm ourselves a little better and up our odds to something slightly greater than the one in several hundreds of millions shot at having that ultimate blessing of financial freedom land on us.

Play what you can afford and nothing more, be responsible, and remember, this is only for fun and educational purposes. There is never any guarantee when gambling.

When I was in seminary, I worked around the corner at 7-Eleven where, of course, we sold lottery tickets. There was one woman who drove a city bus who came in every day, at least three times a day, to buy $20 worth of tickets. This was back in the mid 1980s when wages for drivers were good, but still, that's at least $60 a day. I'm significantly OCD. If I started buying tickets we'd be in the poor house almost immediately. I had a parishioner once who spent one weekend at a casino--lost $15,000. It's too easy to get hooked, & it's the ones who get hooked that the industry counts on for them to make money. It doesn't bother me for people like you who lay down a twenty every so often. It's the ones whose lives end up being destroyed that make me feel it's bad public policy.
