Kidnapping my Twin
Ok ok ok I know it look very crazy because I was just in the main spotlight now I’m in a cop car, but if I told you the full story you probably would understand why…so I might just do that. It all started earlier this week I was sitting at lunch (by myself) eating the sandwich I hate the most, PBJ. As you already know PBJ turns my stomach but I lost the rock paper scissors battle that morning against my twin…again so he pick what we had for lunch. My twin was more popular than me at school, I’m talking about wayyy more popular despite literally looking the exact same. I guess it’s his personality against other people because when he with me he act like I’m his follower. He always thought I was a jealous twin and always thought I was trying to find a flaw on him but honestly I just don’t like him because people treat him better than me…well I guess that sound kinda jealous but you missing the point. Anyways I was sitting by the table of the cool kids. I swear these kids think they the alpha of high schoolers and everyone else is they peasants. Ok back to the topic one of the kids was talking about a party happening this week and it might be the best one yet. He said his parents was out of town this week because of a work field trip and he had the house all by himself. They was talking about there will be beer, snacks, girls, and all the other illegal stuff you can think of. I was listening like my life depends on it cause I know my brother better than anyone else and I knew he was going. My face glitter up like a disco at a 1990s party. I couldn’t wait to tell my parents on my ‘so perfect brother’. I was hoping if I told they was going to put me first in the dept chart of us. But something even more shocking came up, they was saying my brother was gonna be of the main host there. Oh…MY…DAYS I couldn’t believe it. Well I was thinking he would be there but not thinking he would be one of the hosts. Now I know if I snitch I would 100 percent be the favorable twin out of us. And no I’m NOT JEALOUS! Anyways lunch had ended and since I’m done with classes for today I did what any other completely sane person on this earth would do, I followed them. As I follow them I realize they was going to my brother class which is gym. I don’t want my brother to see me cause I know the first thing he would think of is me spying on him so I curve and went to the libary cause after the gym teacher find out they not suppose to be in gym they all going to go to the libary. So Why I was rehearsing on what I’m going to say to our parents I seen my brother and his little minions coming into the libary doing everything except following the rules. One of them must didn’t eat lunch cause he was smacking on some processed chips and one of them was louder than a mother giving birth to a child. But I guess if you very popular in school you get a lot of chances cause the Liberian helper (brother crush) just gave them a warning. I put my head down so they didn’t see me listening to them discussing the details about the party. After they was done chattering I knew everything about this party. So when school ended we got pick up from school by our mother and every afternoon she ask us how was our day. I told her I had a very surprising and unusual day and my brother started his conversation off with a question asking can he go over to his friend house and study tomorrow for the upcoming exam. Ummm first of all if my mother actually pay attention to the emails she have been receiving she would realize that we don’t have a exam until the end of the semester but she so stuck up on her job she hardly even look towards our education situations or anything really. The only thing she give energy towards is her job, groceries, bills, and oh yea my twin of course. I swear you can sneak in a elephant in the living room and if she is working on her laptop she wouldn’t expect a thing. And My pops ain’t no different but the only thing he focus on is when are the next basketball game and when the food is ready. Anyways my mother answer my twin question with an yes. I could’ve just rat him out right then and there but I didn’t have any evidence so I would just come off as you guest it, a Jealous brother. So the day went by and the next day was the day of the party. The school hours went by as usual nothing special but after school we went home and my brother was getting ready for the party. Our parents had to drop us off and run some errands and will be back around 11:30 pm which is extremely late for them. As he was getting ready I realize he been in my draw and got my lucky shirt, which is a no go. I told him to take it off cause he gonna wear off the only luck I have left and he refuse to. I was so mad so I figured out I can just tell our parents he was going to a party instead of studying so when I went to go call my parents to snitch the phone had went to voicemail…no way. I was so angry that my brother was gonna win again but this angry was different… a lot different. It was like I couldn’t control my self emotions and actions about the situation. So while my brother was in the basement trying to find a pack of beer he had hiding in there for special moments I came behind him and lock the door. If you know my house you would realize that the basement is like a jail cell and if the door was lock it could only be open from the outside. So after I lock him in the basement a thought had came to my mind. I realize that I can go to the party as my twin and basically be a jackass to ruin his image as a person. No, IM NOT JEALOUS! So while I was getting ready I already knew the time and location so I was on my way to the party. When I arrive everybody was looking at me in a very confused way. It was like they knew the soul in my body wasn’t the same as my brother so I had to do something to throw them off of me. The first thing I did when I got there was hit a back flip off of one of the benches on the outside( yes me and my twin can flip) but it was like his signature move he did when he was with his friends. So after the confusion had ended and welcomes was giving the party was starting. Me and my brother friends was upsteps and trying to figure everything out about the party. One of them said we got 5 minutes until the big announce. I sat there in confusion cause I didn’t hear nothing about a announcement during the library. He had ask everyone do they remember they line and look towards me and told me I can’t forget mines because it was one of the most important speech. A big gulp came from the inside of my throat, Oh no……

"Not a Mother" – And Still a Complete Human Being, Imagine That
Ah yes, motherhood. The noble purpose. The holy grail. The biological escape room. That one thing that apparently completes you, gives you purpose, meaning, spiritual alignment, and sore nipples. What needs to be done to prolong the species. At least, that’s what the movies, relatives, and suspiciously enthusiastic Instagram accounts would have you believe.

When a Man Scratches the Palm of a Woman's Hand
Nonverbal communication often says more than spoken words. A simple look a tilt of the head or a certain gesture can carry a world of meaning. One such gesture that has drawn curiosity for decades is when a man scratches the palm of a woman’s hand. To the untrained eye it might seem insignificant. But for those who pay attention to body language and cultural cues this small movement could signal something much deeper. In this article we explore what this act might mean why it is used and how important it is to understand the context behind it. Scratching the palm of someone’s hand is not a common everyday action. Unlike a handshake or a casual touch it stands out. This makes it naturally subject to interpretation. In some social circles especially in certain traditional or conservative cultures this gesture has long been seen as a coded message. Specifically it has been used as a subtle way to express romantic or sexual interest. Because open flirtation might not be acceptable in some settings such gestures became a quiet signal between two people sharing mutual attraction or curiosity. In such cases when a man scratches the palm of a woman's hand during a handshake or a brief touch it is often intended to test the waters. It is a way of asking without words Are you interested too The woman’s reaction whether she pulls away smiles back or responds with her own gesture might be taken as a cue. This kind of nonverbal flirting has been around for a long time and can be seen in various cultures where subtlety is valued in courtship. However that is not the only possible interpretation. In other situations scratching the palm could be a nervous habit or a random action with no intended meaning. Not every gesture carries hidden messages and people sometimes do things unconsciously. If a man is nervous around a woman he likes he might touch her hand awkwardly or make unusual gestures without realizing it. That is why context is everything. For example if the two people are already in a romantic or flirtatious situation and the gesture happens it is more likely to be intentional. If they are in a formal setting such as a job interview or a business meeting the same gesture could be inappropriate or completely accidental. Reading the entire situation including body language facial expressions and the nature of the relationship is key to understanding what is really being communicated. It is also important to consider cultural differences. In some cultures touching someone’s hand especially in a certain way is highly meaningful. In others it might be normal and carry no special message at all. What is flirtatious in one part of the world may be considered rude or confusing in another. This is especially true in multicultural environments where people bring different social codes and expectations to their interactions. Moreover personal boundaries vary from person to person. Even if someone means the gesture as a compliment or signal of interest it might not be received that way. Some people do not like being touched at all especially by those they do not know well. That is why it is always best to approach physical contact with respect and awareness. From a psychological perspective gestures like palm scratching fall under the broader category of body language. Experts in nonverbal communication study how people express feelings and intentions without speaking. Hands are especially expressive and are often used to send messages both consciously and unconsciously. A touch on the hand can create a sense of connection warmth or even tension depending on the nature of the contact. For those wondering what to do if they receive such a gesture the answer depends on how it feels to them. If the touch is welcome and seems respectful it might be a starting point for a deeper connection. If it feels uncomfortable or invasive it is perfectly okay to pull away or speak up. Communication should always be mutual and respectful. In relationships especially new ones people often rely on subtle cues to gauge interest. Touching and gestures are part of the dance of getting to know someone. But it is crucial not to rely too heavily on assumptions. Talking openly about feelings and boundaries is always a better path than decoding secret signals. To sum it up when a man scratches the palm of a woman’s hand it can mean a variety of things. It might be a subtle flirtation a nervous tic or a cultural cue. The meaning depends entirely on the situation the people involved and how the gesture is received. What matters most is not the gesture itself but the mutual respect and understanding between individuals. As with any form of communication clarity is better than mystery. While it can be fun to read into small signs real

How to Manifest a Raise by Whispering Into a Mason Jar
I never believed in manifestation. Or chakras. Or anything that required gazing meaningfully into a candle while holding a feather. But that all changed the day I whispered into a mason jar and everything in my life exploded. In a good way. Mostly.
