When I was single, I thought it would be so much better than being in a relationship. But after some time of being single, I realized that being in a relationship is better than being single. And here's why:

Companionship

One of the best things about being in a relationship is that you have someone to share your life with. You can talk to them about what's going on in your life, and vice versa. When you're single, it's easy for people to feel lonely or like they don't have anyone who understands them or knows what they're going through. But when you're with someone else who understands everything about the way that person thinks and feels--and vice versa--it makes all the difference in how comfortable they feel talking about their feelings and sharing themselves with others.

Emotional support

Being in a relationship is the best way to feel less lonely.

We are social creatures and we need other people around us to be happy and healthy, which is why you should definitely consider getting into a relationship if you're single. As much as we want to believe that being single will make us independent, self-sufficient and successful, it's simply not true! We all need support from our friends and family members - even if it's just for advice or someone who can listen when things get tough.

Being alone can cause loneliness which has been linked with an increase risk of depression, anxiety disorders and even suicide attempts (1). These findings have been seen across different cultures including Western countries such as America where most people live by themselves without any family support nearby; whereas some Eastern countries such as Japan have more families living together under one roof so they don't experience this problem as much (2).

Improved mental health

Having someone to talk to can make you feel less alone and more connected, which are key factors in improving your mental health. It's also been shown that being in a relationship can help reduce depression and loneliness, as well as increase self-esteem and confidence levels.

Shared experiences

Shared experiences are the best kind of memories.

If you're in a relationship with someone, then your shared experiences will be things like traveling together, doing things together and sharing memories. This builds up over time as you get older and creates a bond between the two of you that no one else can understand or replace. It also helps to learn new things from each other in this way as well as compromise on certain things which is something that people who are single often don't do because they don't have anyone else around them who may want different things out of life than themselves

Building a future together

You can build a future together. You can share your goals and dreams with a partner, which will help you achieve them faster. You can plan for the future together, working as one unit instead of two individuals who might not be on the same page at all times. And when it comes time to start having kids or even just getting married? That's way easier when there's another person involved in the equation!

The truth is: being single isn't all it's cracked up to be! It may seem like an exciting time while you're in college (or any stage of life), but once things start getting serious with someone special...you'll find out how much better life really is when there are two people working together toward something greater than themselves

Human connection

We are social creatures, and our brains are wired to connect with other people. Even if you're not the most outgoing person, there will always be opportunities for human connection. You might have a best friend at work or school who knows all your secrets, or maybe your neighbor is someone who can always make you laugh when life gets tough.

This type of connection is important because it helps us feel less alone in this world--and it's good for our health! Studies show that people who have strong social relationships have lower stress levels and better mental health overall than those who don't have close friends or family members in their lives (1).

The benefits extend beyond just feeling happier: social interaction also increases longevity by reducing heart disease risk factors such as high blood pressure (2). The bottom line? It pays off big time to invest in meaningful relationships!

Conclusion

I hope that this article has convinced you that being single is overrated. It's true that there are some advantages to being single, but they pale in comparison to the benefits of having a partner in life. I want all my readers to know that if they're feeling lonely or depressed about not having someone special in their lives, then there are still plenty of ways for them to find companionship and build meaningful relationships with others!
