The million-dollar question.

Deceits, Breakups, Divorce, all these are results we get from a relationship bounded by love, which has since become the order of the day. About 40 to 50 percent of married couples divorce in the US, This is the environment we all find ourselves in today.

It is however not a rare occurrence anymore, It has now become a status quo in which the young, youth, and old adopt. How did we get to this dreading point? I am at the same time confused and i say to myself, If all these are happening in a relationship we thought was "bounded by love" then what is love? Love according to Google is an intense feeling of deep affection. It also means a great interest and pleasure in something. If this is the meaning of love then why is all this happening? A lot of times we hear married couples say to themselves they want a divorce. They tell themselves they don't feel the same way they felt when they just met. The newly wedded now end marriages almost a few weeks after marriage. What is wrong? Has the definition of love been misinterpreted?

It takes two to tangle they say, and also it takes two to engage in a Holy Matrimony. The two coming together and saying I do, both smiling, and happy they have made the right choice. But then was that just a charade? or should i say for the gram? If you ask me what love is, I will tell you love is kind, love is patient, love is understanding, love is absorbing differences, love is selflessness, love is all about adding values, love is happiness, love is peace of mind, love is collaboration.

If the explained meaning above isn't part of your definition and understanding of love then i don't know what it is. We are all entitled to our different opinions, but then, the blunt truth will always be blunt. We must teach, and express love to everyone around us, It shouldn't be just limited to relationships alone, love is meant to be shared and spread abroad. Let's take it upon ourselves to teach the young ones what love really means, we should teach them and show them how to express in-depth love. They will grow in it and live up to the standards we already had taught them.

Love teaching or expression shouldn't be gender-based. All genders must be taught accordingly, Love isn't one-sided, it is a mutual contribution, mutual contribution, and understanding of love go a long way, a society filled with love is a healthy environment.

Talking of teaching love, adults too aren't exempted from been taught what love is. We should be able to learn, unlearn and relearn. Books that help rekindle relationships and marriages should be read, books that talk in-depth about how to love, and express should also be adopted. Marriage seminars, Counsellors should be consulted on a regular basis. A home experiencing fainted love can be rekindled, a man or woman gradually losing the feeling of love can be brought back to life.

Nothing beats a happy and healthy home. Therefore, we should teach, and express love, agape love. Let there be love shared amongst us, let there be love in our hearts, let the love fill the nation that we may all rise and live happily with one another.

You can read and share this with your loved ones, everyone needs to read this and together we can help cultivate a happy and healthy environment, filled with love, joy, happiness, less divorce, breakups, deceits, and hate.

I am glad i was able to share this with you, my burden has been lifted.
