Welcome to Our Alien Overlords

We humans can no longer hold the top spot.

I’m going to tell you something that maybe a surprise to some of you. believe in aliens. I know, it’s hard to believe that someone who loves Star Trek, Star Wars, Dr. Who and superhero comic books, believes in alien life out there in the galaxy. Well, here's two reasons why I believe this:

1. As big as the universe is and as much as we keep discovering just now big it is; to think that we’re the only beings is just so egotistical.

2

2. We are just too stupid. There have been plenty of instances in human history that makes me we want to scratch my head in disbelief. For instance, the repeated hatred and discrimination that just gets recycled to different minorities, religions and sexes. For example, for those of you who get all worked up about Mexican immigrants coming to America, don't forget that same hatred has been aimed at Italians, Germans, Cubans and basically all immigrants who want to come to America. It’s more baffling when you think about how America was "founded" ( Indians were here first and they probably wish they built a wall) by the Original Illegal Immigrants (a.k.a the Founding Fathers) who brought with them all their guns, illness and disease.

Recent events have also made me so baffled and amazed, that I can no longer hold on to the belief that we are the only intelligent beings in the galaxy; let alone the on this planet. These things just scream, " We need to be taken over! We cannot be allowed to run things in this plant anymore!"

Politics

Politics makes us all instantly stupid (unless you’re a registered independent). It seems you must fall on one of two sides, Democrat or Republican, and whatever team you choose you have to keep true to your team or be shunned as an outcast. Meaning there is no simple right or wrong, you must tow the company line or else get kicked off the team or go to the timeout corner (Cindy McCain). The recent example is the horrible events of January 6. Let’s not mix words, the attempted coup of the President Sunkist Orange followers on January 6 was deplorable, disgusting and scary as people stormed into the Capitol to overturned the 2020 presidential election results (remember your vote counts). However, depending on what side of the fence your on and which news program you watch, those people were either terrorist or patriots (which makes sense because it wasn't like voting wasn't a big deal in the "founding" of America). This really shouldn’t be a debate. This was wrong on every conceivable level but again because some folks are on one side who must keep to the narrative that certain ethnicity, religions and/or sexual orientation are the only evils in the world; if that doesn’t fit then it's no big and we should just move on. Now go back four years prior, when there was concerned about outside interference during the presidential election that President Sunkist won. Now if supporters of Hillary Clinton had stormed Congress then the narrative would have so completely different and I guarantee you that not one of the protesters would have been called revolutionaries or patriots by any U.S official or news media (not to mention, many of the protesters wouldn't have allowed to fly back home after storming the U.S government building). I understand that in life not everything is black and white, there will always be shades of grey. This should never be one. If you thought 9/11 was attack on our county, then 1/6/21 is the same thing (unfortunately this may be as easily forgotten as 4/19/95, the Oklahoma City bombing).

Vaccine

It was just last year when the whole world basically shut down and we all stayed home during the plague of our time, COVID-19. We stayed home because we simply didn't have enough information about the virus at the time and staying home was a safe option as to stop the rapid spread of the virus as lives were being lost across the planet and hospitals were being filled to capacity. However, there was more than a dull roar of people complaining about staying at home. Some actually tried to compare being locked in their own home as the same as being locked up in prison. Which tells me a few things; these people have never been to prison; they have never watched an episode of Oz or Orange is the New Black and their privileged. Then people got upset about wearing mask (again to stop the spread of the virus) and leading the charge was Republican Representative Marjorie "I can out crazy anyone on the planet" Taylor Greene who actually compared wearing a mask to the Holocaust. Again, this tells me a few things; she really didn't pay attention in history class, she never watched the History Channel when it first aired and was just the 24/7 Hitler Channel and privileged. They’re people who are very upset and just flat out refuse not to wear mask indoors although states were requiring them to so because it's a violation of their freedom. So naturally I must ask which Amendment is it that gives anyone the freedom to make other people sick?

I also must ask these questions about these people.

● Are these the type of people that don't cover their mouths when they sneeze or cough?

● Are these types of people who don't wash their hands when they use the bathroom?

● Are these the type of people who wipe their nose on their sleeves?

● Are these the type of people who pick their nose and then wipe their finger on the couch?

● Are these types of people who send their sick kids to school?

● Are these the type of people that have unprotected sex?

● Are these the type of people that wouldn't take a polio vaccine?

Now that vaccinations are available, I’m simply amazed how many people are not getting vaccinated. The only way things can get back to "normal" is if people get vaccinated to battle this virus. It's amazing that at the time of this posting, six states (South Carolina, Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, Louisiana and Tennessee) have a 400 percent spike in positive COVID-19 cases according to U.S News and World Report. How can you justify not getting vaccinated? Even President Sunkist, who tried to downplay the plague by saying it wasn't really a big deal while the body count reached four hundred thousand (don't forget ALL lives matter) got vaccinated, after he tested positive and was treated for Covid 19 (guess it wasn't fake news after all). Now to be honest, I had reservation about getting vaccinated because with my respiratory issues I was scared because I was already a prime target for instant death so I avoided Covid (like the plague). Just thinking about taking a watered-down version of the virus so my immune system can fight it (like them flu shot) made me nervous. However, after talking to my CHF Technician (I know it's weird that I actually listen to a train medical professional instead of President Sunkist or my local politician) and the fact I want to do what I can for my family's health, so I decided to get my two shots. I also understand that some people are scared of the science or the medicine but again this raises a whole lot of questions like;

● Do they not take Tylenol or Aspirin?

● Do they know what the one safe, no side effect drug is?

● Do they not know they can overdose on Tylenol or Aspirin?

● Do these people ever watch any of the 30 second drug commercials in which 15 seconds is devoted to all the side effects of the drug?

● Do these folks not have any medicine in their medicine cabinet?

● How many times have they watched ‘I am Legend’?

● Do these folks not believe in gravity?

● Do they still use leeches to heal themselves and their children?

Now if people don't want to get vaccinated for their family or friends, surely you would think people would get vaccinated for money, but you would be wrong. The NFL now has a policy that requires coaches, front-office executives, equipment managers and scouts to get vaccinated. Now players are not required to receive vaccination but will go through strict protocols during training camp and throughout the season that vaccinated players can skip. Consequence of not following the policy include fines and forfeiting games. Now two NFL assistant coaches (Former Minnesota Vikings Assistant Coach Rick Dennison and New England Patriots co-offensive line coach Cole Popovich) have already been fired because they refuse to get vaccinated. Now I know that assistant coaches don't make nearly enough money as the players, but they aren’t making minimum wage.

Forget the money, after seeing how Covid has effected not just sports but just about every facet of life from work to school to just going out with your buddy, after watching health care workers struggle to keep working as patients go through agonizing pain and as the death toll keeps rising, how can you not get vaccinated? I'm just dumbfounded. How can we all go through this and be united by the same fear and uncertainty of Covid-19 and yet be so divided, defiant and stubborn when it come to a solution?

Flat Earth

I just had to add this one because I just can't believe that in the year of our Lord 2019 (2019 A.D) that some people still believe that world is flat. First of all, wasn't one of the accomplishment of the cruise that Christopher Columbus took was that he proved that you can go across the ocean and not fall of the planet into the empty void of space. Not to mention decades of photos and videos that show this and every planet in our solar system is round. This is dumber that the moon landing being staged controversy. At least you have the thin veil of defense of the U.S was trying to beat Russia in the space race. This is like when I use to watch The Maury Show. They always had the girlfriend/wife who suspected their boyfriend/husband of cheating. Even though the girlfriend/wife found naughty pictures of other women in his phone, read emails from other women, caught him sexting to other women, could smell another women’s perfume on his clothes and even caught him in bed with another women, she still had to go and take him to the show and strap to a lie detector because she just wasn't sure (come on).

Well anyway (I kind of lost track here), if this blog entry happens to come across any alien life out there in the vast frontier of space, I want them to know that I'm more than willing to help with the transition. I humbly welcome our new alien overlords as they come take over as the dominant species of this planet. I believe my sci-fi nerdy-ness can be of use to you. I'm very helpful, in fact, after I finish writing this, I'm going to help this nice Nigerian prince I met online, get out of this terrible financial situation he seems to be caught up in.
