Two hearts intertwined over a bottle of wine

"How does Sunday evening sound?" said Freya looking deep into Ella's honey brown eyes and without hesitating Ella responded "yes! what did you have in mind?" Freya hadn't gone out on a date in about 8 months, so she had no idea how to make this go smoothly. Still, Freya replied "Maybe a nice dinner and a movie afterward, followed by a stroll through the park. If that sounds okay with you"

The plans were set in motion, and both of them were looking forward to seeing what the night had in store for them. Freya had gone out that same day to look for a nice evening dress, hoping to look her best.

Getting back home Freya took the dress she bought to try on with the heels she had in her closet, she called them her "lucky heels" the dress paired lovely with the heels. Once she looked in the mirror and realized how it all looked nice together, she was less nervous and even more excited. Freya then phoned their mutual friend who had introduced them to each other and thanked her for helping her put herself out there. The friend, Emma was so happy to hear that they made plans for a real date. Emma had been meaning to introduce them to each other because she thought they would be a great match. Sure enough, both of them were fond of each other from the get-go.

Once Saturday arrived, Ella texted Freya "looking forward to tomorrow!" and Freya responded "Me too! Counting down the hours until I see your face again." The sun started to set and both had gotten ready for bed, anticipating their date. On Sunday morning, Emma and Freya went out for brunch and mimosas, chatting about how excited both were for later that day. Emma came back to Freya's apartment so she could try on and show her what she would be wearing to the date. Once she stepped out of the bedroom to show her, Emma gasped and said "You look so stunning, I'm so glad this is happening and that you two are hitting it off." Freya responded "Thank you once again, really I had given up on dating and meeting people. But something in me tells me this will be different."

As the day went by, Freya and Ella had been texting back and forth. Once 5:00 pm rolled around, with much anticipation both had begun getting ready for the date. Once Freya was ready she texted "All ready over here, let me know once you are too so I can head your way and pick you up." With a smile on her face, Ella replied "Just need to do my hair, will take about 10 minutes! so if you'd like you can start heading." Headed towards Ella's apartment Freya had made a sweet playlist to play during the car ride there and back. She pulled into Ella's apartment complex and stepped outside the car waiting for her on the passenger side's door. Once Ella made her way down, she went up to Freya and hugged her saying "Wow can't believe I'm going on a date with you, I am honored. You look so beautiful." Freya replied "I should be the one who's honored, you look so lovely. Should we get going?" She says as she opens the passenger's door for her.

Arriving at the restaurant they both get seated and start chatting, getting to know a bit more about each other. "Emma sure knew what she was doing setting us up, really glad we're here," says Ella. The waiter brings out the menu for the food and drinks, and Freya asks Ella if she would like some wine to start, Ella replies with "I would love some, something red maybe?" Looking through the drink menu they decide on a bottle of Jetbird Merlot. Once the waiter comes back to take their order, they order the food and Freya says "and can we get a bottle of your Jetbird Merlot please." the waiter replies with "Good choice, that's one of my favorites." As the waiter brings out the wine bottle and the two wine glasses he pours some wine into both of the glasses and says "Food will be out shortly, you ladies enjoy." Sipping on the glass of Merlot Freya looks up at Ella and says "There's no person I rather be sharing this wine bottle with, I appreciate you making time for this." The food comes out and they start eating, drinking, chatting, and drinking some more glasses of merlot. Freya insisted on paying for the meal and Ella responds with "Alright next one is on me, and if anything we can go back to my apartment skip the movie, and watch one over there insisted?" Freya says "Sounds like a deal, let's get going."

They arrive at Ella's apartment skipping the walk and the movie, and they start chatting some more deciding on what movie to play. They land on "Stuck in love" and Ella offers Freya a change of clothes more casual and comfortable than the silk dress she was wearing. They both changed and sit on the couch. Freya says "Thank you for inviting me over, and for making tonight memorable and special." Ella replies with "If by any chance you would like to spend the night you are welcome to and thank you as well. I had a lot of fun sharing that bottle with you." So the night continued and they shared some more laughs and conversations
